“The best place North of Manaus----or even in Manaus”

Well, lets face it,this is the best place in central Brazil. You can easily spend a whole weekend in this park. It has everything you need for a day in the water. You can tube, swim, climb waterfalls, eat barbeque fish, or just hang out and watch people having a good time. Take swimsuits, sunscreen, and eat by the river in one of the many restaurants.

Great place to go with the family, everything is close by, restaurants, snack bars. Free access to the rapids. Very pleasant place.

VERY FULL OF PEOPLE

I visited in the late afternoon and to be honest I didn't really like it because there were a lot of people.
I didn't get close to the rapids and where people bathe, but I didn't like the general context because it was very crowded.
Maybe on an emptier day my experience would be better;
