Words and photos are inadequate to describe this underground city, with a river running through it through deep chasms that the Balrog could pop out of any moment. You simply have to go.

We were splited into 2 groups-one english guided and we were only two of us in the group for slovenian language. That means miss Eva was our "private" guide, giving all information, telling interesting stories and answering to all our questions. We were also totally amazed by the nature! There were floods in february 2019 so the Reka river rised extremelly, you can't imagine how high! In summer 2020 they will open new "adrenaline" trail. It's not allowed to take photos inside, but there is a wi-fi in the cave, which is used for SOS. This is a must see place in Slovenia!

It's one the most beautiful cave I've ever visited! You can't take pictures but trust me, you'll be to busy admiring the impressive canyon and the previous chambers. It's an easy 40 min. walk from the bus/train station in Divaca, the path is well indicated. I went off season so there is only two visits: 10am and 1pm. I think there is an extra visit on sundays at 3pm but check the website to be sure.
