Perhaps it is better to go to Vallecito in wintertime, especially when it is covered with snow. Be sure to put chains on your tires, because if the road up is snowed, it would be difficult indeed! Once you are up, enjoy the panoramic view and if you like skiing, this is the place, nearby Mendoza City.

If you have confidence in your car tires, then make the trek up to this lonely outpost offering incredible views of the Andes. There is a lonely restaurant at the end of the road you can stop by and have a drink or just enjoy the vistas. Enjoyable for one time only.

Once you are up, enjoy the panoramic view and if you like skiing, this is the place, nearby Mendoza City.
