Disappointing. Email communication prior curt (I get ppl are busy so, whatever). Prices double what I suspect they would be for regular riders (certainly double what we pay at home but, I wanted a fun holiday ride with my daughter who is starting to get into horses).
No sign of St Michael's Mount on our, supposedly, scenic ride (basically up and down the road and a short way down a track and back again to make up the hour).
And my 8 yo got bitten by the pony she had been riding when she went to feed it after (and, yes, she knows how to behave around horses).

Terribly Disorganised and utterly disappointing with woeful customer service. Accepted our booking, we paid and received confirmation. Contacted us less than 24 hours before the ride to say they were terribly sorry but ‘booked up now’ and ‘very busy this year’ and that our ride was cancelled. Didn’t respond to further emails except to suggest we tried their competitor, whom we had already turned down because we had booked with Tremenheere. As a consequence, we had two very upset teens (both experienced riders) who had dreamed of riding on the beach. The company couldn’t have cared less.

My mum and I took part in the beginner meadow walk and wow! What an experience!
It was a really wet and windy day but we did not notice the weather at all! From the start Alice, the staff member running the session, was warm and welcoming. We were out on the horses for a full hour and the views were brilliant, winding up the Cornish roads, with views of the sea. Halfway, we stopped in a field with spectacular views - we could see St Michael’s Mount. Here, Alice made sure we all had some great photos to help commemorate our experience.
We would highly recommend this activity and we will be definitely heading back here if we come again! Thank you to Alice and the team for a great afternoon!

I had a brilliant ride on Lacey whom I was well suited to as an experienced rider. The correct sized group of 5 took off for a 2 hour hack which included 30 mins on the beach at a gallop. From start to finish it was well organised but with a very relaxed feel.
I would definitely include this in my Cornwall itinerary.

I would thoroughly recommend this place. They have some beautiful and very well behaved horses to choose from. The environment is very relaxed but takes safety of horse and rider seriously. The beach ride approx 2hrs is excellent with stunning views of Micheal mount and an awesome gallops to enjoy. I believe they cater for all abilities and ages. Do not miss out on this gem of a place!

We enjoyed a great ride escorted by Elsie today. Small stables (11 horses/ponies) 10/15 min drive outside Penzance. They are very well looked after, turned out and well behaved but also responsive and suitable for both experienced and novice riders. I loved my mount Lacey, a beautiful 15.2 skewbald mare.
As a couple who ride regularly at home, we opted for the 2 hour beach ride (which was closer to 2.5 hours) and were not disappointed. We rarely get the opportunity to canter for some distance in such a beautiful, wide open space. The ride to and from the beach was through lovely countryside in the main at a walk, trot and canter.
Elsie made it a professional but relaxed experience, respecting the fact that everyone booked on the beach ride has stated that they are a reasonably competent rider. Would definitely book to ride here again if and when we are back in Cornwall.

Having only ridden once I came to the session apprehensive of horses, however within 10 minutes Alice and Elsa made me feel very comfortable on the lovely Lacy.
The views of St Michael’s Mount on the ride to the beach were stunning. When joining the beach there was a rocky section but the instructors guided us across safely and I felt very relaxed. Riding on the beach in such a beautiful area was a fantastic experience. Having forgotten our phones Alice kindly took photos on her phone and later sent them to us.
We all thoroughly enjoyed the session, and look forward to coming back in the future! Thank you Alice and Elsa.

Brilliant ride. We did the Mount View 1hr ride with our 3 kids age 5-9yrs. The team were great with the mixed experience group we are. Lovely well trained horses. Highly recommended

Had a lovely beach ride with Claire on Sunday. Horses were very well behaved and it was such a great experience. Claire was very good and kept checking that everyone was happy throughout the ride. Very well run stables with great staff and happy horses. Beautiful area to horse ride as views were amazing. Thank you.

1)The owner, Georgina has mean behaviour and is using kids to serve you (age about 12 to 15?) during their summer holiday.
2)There was no proper guidance for beginners. It looked like most of the beginners were just sitting on a horse rather than doing 'horse riding'.
3) it was the worst experience I ever had.
I was renting a car just before the experience and we were 5 to 10mins late. Once we got there, Georgina yelled at us, 'Hurry up" and got mad at me that I was taking my dogs with me and should have asked her before. I just wanted to ask her if it's okay for me to keep my dogs outside in a car park or I should keep them in a car. But unnecessarily I was yelled at by Georgina and got some mean comments from her.
Also, Georgina didn't response to my enquiries through the website of her stable. I had to text her to get a booking confirmation after all.
I do understand that being late is not good. but we didn't do it on purpose and said sorry to her for being late. The owner's behaviour wasn't acceptable to me.
Because of the owner's mean behaviour, using kids for their service, poor riding guidance, and slow responses for booking, my whole experience was awful.
Therefore, I do not recommend this stable to anyone who wants to enjoy your time.
