This is one of the most stunning walks amongst the red gums. If you go far enough east you can see the Grampians and flood plains and then the old, old cemetery at the other end. Love the railway bridge but mostly loved those river reds.

After a fine lunch at the pub this was a fine place to walk our dog. Walk along the river o the old cemetery and get a glimpse of history. Pub and walk made for a great.visit to Cavendish.

The Settlers walk along the Wannon River in Cavendish is lovely little walk. Plaques are placed along the trail. It is a quiet tranquil place. If you do the walk in winter you get to the end of the walk and there is a lovely view of the Grampians mountains and the river. Some lovely scenery!
