Just turned up an hour before closing for a 15 minute climb on an auto relay to be told by a unbelievably horrid and rude woman that we can’t climb. Apparently the tills were closed and we should’ve turned up at half six a whole ten minutes earlier than we had and still 50 minutes before closing. I strongly advise the management to pay closer attention to there staff and overall customer service as we won’t be bothering again.

We came here for my other half’s birthday a couple of weeks ago for the bouldering. She’s been to other centres before but I never have, but fortunately White Spider caters to all abilities and experience levels. It took a little while to figure out what I was doing but got the hang of it eventually and it was good fun. I’d like to go back for the actual rope and harness climbing at some point too because the walls they’ve got set up for that look awesome. They’ve got Covid safe procedures in place and everyone there was pretty good about socially distancing. Not very expensive either, and worth the money, but if you do hire climbing shoes make sure to go a size up from your normal size otherwise they will be far too tight.

Had Brilliant fun today at White Spider. My wife and I had an introductory private session with instructor Yan who was very good. We’re both complete novices and just wanted to try something different. We both had tremendous fun and will definitely go back.

Had a lovely session with our guide, Matt. He helped the kids with their climbing as they had limited experience of climbing. They first did the rock climbing and then moved onto bouldering and they all came off beaming. Would really recommend the guides, as they are friendly and helpful. Staff are friendly there, there is also a mini-cafe. Therefore, all is good.
