Christ Church, Surbiton Hill is an evangelical church within the Church of England. Sunday morning services (10:30am) attract a large all age family group of around 220 (80 children) for worship using a wide range of music, old & new. After a short time together children go to separate groups for fun and age appropriate teaching. Adult teaching is firmly biblically based with the Gospel message being explored clearly. There is also a relaxed 6:30 evening service. A warm welcome is assured, whether you are a "seeker", or an established Christian. Home groups and a social activity programme ensure that everyone feels involved.

I helped with children's groups for 13 years now with youth group on a Friday. I love the involvement with homeless shelters and worldwide charity as well as at home . We continue a long tradition.

This Church is the heart of the local community and seems to organise lots of events and has a real sense of connection with the people. This is a Church of England Church. This church is very popular with the locals.

Unwelcoming. Shabby. Used to be better 10 years ago with previous vicar. Seems to have gained in numbers but lacks in many ways.

A friendly church. Lots of young families. All age children groups. A crèche for children up to 21/2 years of age. Lots of social events to join in with. A great place to worship and meet new friends.

We have been going here for over 7 years now with our two kids and we feel so at home. There is a real community feel, wonderful worship and a mix of ages. Great events too every so often as well with a fab leadership team.

Lovely little church with lots going on. They have fun winter and Sumer fairs and lots to do for the older generation, sadly I have moved away from this church but I loved it here.

Went to a colleagues wedding here. It was delightful. Lovely old church, cleverly used nearly in the round, great organ and nice facilities

Christ Church has been gutted (as of winter 2018/19) as a major refurbishment gets underway, to undo all the 1970s changes and turn it into a more adaptable space.
It's going to be impressive when it's finished; more than £1m is being spent.
Floors are being evened up for step-free, wheelchair-friendly access, with lift access to upper areas.
