The route to this amazing place is challenging – at least for those who are not used to walk uphill roads. Wear your best sneakers and take a few water bottles with you, so you’ll be fine. The route is up, up, up, but you...More

We visited here today 4th June. We loved the walk up to this place, through beautiful ancient forest on well graduated paths. The grotto was amazing. Someone has described it as hanging from the rocks and this is rather what it looked like from down...More

Went there on a sunny winter afternoon. We hiked to the top of the cliff and then to the cave itself. It's a very nice hike and the church and complex are very interesting.

It was such a powerful meditation that We ended up going back the following day and doing it again. The walk through the beautiful and unusual for Provence forest was just as memorable as the view from the top and the grotto itself. Even the...More

We had no idea where we were going that day. Ou relatives planned this hike to the grotto. It is built in the middle of some sheer cliff. It is about an hour one way, depending on people in your party. The walk through the...More

Quite out of the way and off the beaten path, but definitely worth the detour. Even to a nonbeliever like me, there is a special energy in the air, perhaps due to the dramatic setting and the beauty of the ladscape? For those who are...More

Unique religious place to visit. Can be a demanding walk. No climbing, but steep. Not far from Marseilles. In the mountains above the city. Can be a thrilling experience to drive up to the mountains. The scenery is breathtaking.
