The group of the “Environmental Excursion Guides of the Taro and Ceno Valleys” coordinates and promotes the activities of excursionists in the southwest mountains of the Parma area. The area, nestled between Emilia Romagna, Liguria and Tuscany, is characterized by the presence of ancient routes, such as the “Abbots Way”(which has linked Irish monasteries with the Italian Apennine Mountains since the VII century A.D.) and the Francigena Way, the main Medieval route that led the pilgrims from Canterbury, in the United Kingdom, to Rome. The group has prepared a schedule which enables anyone to take part in single day-trips and visit different and magic places among the Apennines. All tours are escorted by an experienced guide who not only guarantees your safety, but also leads the group through little known paths, providing information on the history, the people, the culture and the naturalistic features of the places.

Mi devo complimentare con la vostra guida Cinzia che ci ha accompagnato domenica scorsa in una uscita a tema Funghi 🍄🍄🍄 che si è rivelata molto interessante e gradevole per la bellezza dei luoghi scelti, per l’attenzione posta nel tenere tutto il gruppo sotto controllo nonostante ognuno scappasse per la ricerca dei funghi, ma soprattutto apprezzabile le competenze sia micologiche che ambientali. We made a route on Monte Pena where we discovered there were several routes within reach of all legs. Our Guide was really knowledgeable and helpful. We will return without more for other routes with other guides!

On a passé une journée inoubliable dans la forêt et les vallées de l’Appennino, à la recherche de chutes cachées et de traces d’animaux sauvages. Notre guide, très compétent, nous a aussi accompagnés dans un voyage à travers l’histoire millénaire de ces terres en nous montrant les restes de plusieurs civilisations. À ne pas manquer!

Su sentieri di confine tra regione Emilia-Romagna e Toscana, tra boschi di faggi e splendide aperture panoramiche. Maria, la guida di questo trekking, è una antropologa del posto (Berceto, Passo della Cisa) che si è prestata ad accompagnare il gruppo alla scoperta dei boschi delle sue montagne e della storia delle persone che lo popolavano.
Abbiamo visto sul terreno ancora nero i resti delle carbonaie e ascoltato la descrizione delle antiche economie di cui si viveva.
Ci sono andata, come spesso, da sola, ma ci si unisce a gruppi di persone in gamba e con la passione comune del camminare. Bellissimo gruppo a questo giro, durante la pausa panino, in una radura panoramica, abbiamo anche assaltato Maria, apicultrice ai primi passi, con mille domande sulle api e la loro particolare organizzazione sociale (l'antropologa si illumina su questa).
Un'escursione consigliatissima per chi preferisce i giri nei boschi.

Per la prima volta abbiamo partecipato ad un dog trekking con le nostre due cucciole di taglia medio/grande.
Ci siamo trovati molto bene sia con i partecipanti che con l'organizzatore Roberto Bardini.
