An amazing place that deserves a whole lot more attention. SO much to see. The town has an interesting history and was great to learn why the local residents are just so proud of their little town.
Hunter the summer student, was our guide and was just the sweetest thing. Extremely knowledgeable and she has a bright future ahead.
This is a must see in Gravelbourg

We only had time to browse through the museum which was a great bargain at $5. We could have had a guided tour of the museum, cathedral and convent for $10 but we didn’t have time. The displays on Gravelbourg history were very well done! The antiques rivaled anything we have seen at different Western Development museums. The museum is on 2 levels. It is small but packs a lot of interesting memorabilia in a small space! Well worth stopping and exploring!

Took a tour of the museum.it was part of the 10 dollar tour of the museum ,cathedral and nunnery. This was a typical small town museum but there are some interesting items to look at.

Lots of variety attached to this if one pays $10 to wander the museum of local artifacts led by a personal guide and then as part of the package continues with the guide to tour the cathedral and former convent. So much rich history to digest and absorb!

We had to pay at the museum to see the cathedral, but it was a chance to refresh about how life was at the turn century. They seemed to have a lot of items, I wish I had more time!

The knowledgeable Curator guided us through this 2-story facility, revealing interesting details that made the history come alive. It's best with a guide, as there are so many fun stories behind each display. If you're anywhere near Gravelbourg, not that far from the Trans Canada Highway, don't miss it!

I was born in 1945 in Gravelbourg and lived there until Grade 4. My husband, daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren were interested in seeing where I spent these first years of my life. We travelled together in July of 2016. We were not disappointed. Our visit included the museum, Co- Cathedral, school and Paris Cafe. So many artifacts and memorabilia were found in the museum. The guide was excellent. So many happy memories to share with the family. I highly recommend a visit to the museum. The wealth of material made is so easy to give them a glimpse of life in Gravelbourg over the years. Don't miss it!
