We (two couples) took the coffee plantation / volcano tour with Jupiter. It was all great! We saw lots of things and learned a great deal about both coffee, Mexican haciendas and volcanoes. If you have the chance, take a tour with these folks you will not regret it.

We have been coming to this area for 30 plus years. This was the first time we ventured into Comala and took a tour with Jupiter. Its a must do. Very informative and creates a new admiration for the people of Comala and the struggles that they had living so close to a live volcano. We stayed at the B... More

We have been wanting to do the hike to Nevada de Colima (Snow Volcano Tour) for the last five years. We finally made it to the summit this past March. It was truly the most amazing and wonderful trip of a lifetime! For us it was a dream come true. We have stayed at Jupiter's and Maya's B&B four times... More

We have lived in the area for 8 years and this was our first tour with Jupiter. We will definitely be back for more of his tours. Our second stay at Casa Alvarada, to be repeated, too!

Our ship stopped at Manzanillo. We arranged a private tour (16 persons) to the highland city of Colima and the quaint Spanish town of Comala, where we toured a coffee factory and saw the bean bags arriving from the fields and being separated and processed. We also visited some ancient pre-Mayan ruins and the private Alejandro Rangel Hildago Museum. Alejandro... More

We just recently visited Colima and wanted to see among other things the Volcano. We live in Canada and fully expected a full on tour bus with minimal interaction from the guide, what we got was a superb personal tour with only one other couple and Alfredo spoke very good English making the experience very enjoyable for us. Alfredo took us... More

Jupiter made this day of multiple wonders in Colima interesting and fun! He had an intimate knowledge of each stop and restaurants.

I've lived in the Manzanillo area of Colima for 7 years and I've never had (or taken) the chance to get to the Comala area and actually see the volcano's. I've heard a lot of good things about Admire Mexico Tours and Jupiter. So with a friend visiting I finally booked a full day volcano tour to see the area.... More

We arrived without reservations and all tours were booked solid - the week between Christmas & New Years is obviously very busy. Jupiter, arranged for an old friend of his, Alfredo, to give us a semi-private tour in his truck. Alfredo is employed full time as a teacher at the university in Colima. Excellent english and very patient... I was... More
