When on Isabel, be sure to take a short panga ride over to Tintoreras. As you walk the trail, you will be the one to get out of the way of the iguanas! Keep your eye on the shoreline for all the crab, and white tail sharks. This is also a great place to see blue-footed boobies. And the white-topped... More

We did a day trip to Isabela and Los Tintoreras from Puerto Ayora, Santa Cruz. Endured a never ending 2 1/2 hrs bumpy boat ride to Isabela, and then another 2 1/2 hrs back. Almost half the passengers threw up on the way. Honestly, with what we saw at Los Tintoreras, we could easily spot in the waters of Santa... More

We kayaked round. We saw rays, frigate birds, penguins, seals, marine iguanas to mention but a few. Enjoyed having a guide who was very knowledgeable and very aware of our safety. The sea was very clear but a little rough due to a stiff breeze.

We saw sharks, huge sea turtles and blue footed boobies on this snorkel trip. It's a 1h drive by boat, but definitely worth. The volcanic rocks with different undisturbed animals are awesome. A must do!

We were delighted to discover the variety of animals, and the fascinating landscape located so close to Puerto Villamil. Our captain and tour guide spotted a dolphin in the lagoon, and adjusted our snorkel so that we got a chance to see the dolphin in the water. A trip highlight.

The walk around was like you were on another planet. It was very cool. We only saw one shark, but we did see some turtles swimming around. The boat ride was awesome, as we saw lots of penguins and blue-footed boobies.

I was there when mating season was just starting and the iguanas were starting to heavily populate the island. Also saw sea turtles and white tipped sharks.
