Paid over $30 (2 adults, 3 children under 12) for right to do 5 minute walk to the chasm. Compared to the rest of the West Mac walks, chasms, water holes which are free this was a rip off. We walked 16k to the top...More

Food was fine, not bad, but not that good. Coffee was pretty average. Rates much lower than Ormiston Gorge Cafe. Service was very friendly and good.

Standley Chasm is a natural wonder. Beauty and colours well worth the 800 metre walk. Great that a kiosk is located at the entrance.

The kiosk itself whilst in a nice place didn't serve anything special. Microwaved pies.. The chasm takes maybe 30 minutes to walk to - pretty impressive.

Great scenic walk, easy drive from Alice springs (half an hour or so) along a good road. Staff at kiosk were great. Obviously a busy day but gave us the spiel about it being a cultural important place with just enough information. Given the number...More

It was nice to be able to sit and enjoy scones and tea after a walk down to the chasm. The path is very easy to walk and it is lovely and shady almost the entire way. I really enjoyed this appt.

With so much else to see in the West Macs this one can be missed if you're short on time. $12 per adult entry is a lot when everything else is free. If you're only walking in and out of the gorge you'll be there...More

The chasm is a short 1.2 km easy walk on a well maintained walking path from the lovely kiosk/ office. Try and get there at mid day with the sun overhead to give the best colours.

Of all the places we visited in the West MacDonnell ranges, this was the least impressive. It wasn't that there was anything wrong with it, but all the surrounding sights were superior with more to see and do, not to mention they're free and Standley...More

Thank you for taking time to review on Tripadvisor. We're quite surprised & disappointed to hear you were "underwhelmed" by the natural beauty of the landscape at Standley Chasm ANGKERLE, this would be considered un-usual by the majority of our very satisfied visitors. We are...More
