Island Hopping from Lefkada

First, we will visit the historic CAVE of PAPANIKOLIS. Our boat will go right inside the cave and stop at GIOVANNI’S CAVE where we have the chance to swim on the crystal waters. Then we stop to one of the most traditional villages on Meganisi island SPARTOCHORI, for a stroll around and coffee . Then we stop at a fantastic beach of LAKKA for a wonderful swim and we enjoy our lunch on board. Later we enjoy an afternoon swim, on the island of the Onasis family SCORPIOS .Finally sightseeing the islands: Scorpios – Scorpidi – Maddouri – Sparti. Tour guiding is included. The boat offers comfort as it takes capacity maximum up to 40 persons, so it’s a kind of private boat trip

Lovely beach with beds and parasols and wonderful taverna where the welcome every day is very warm and fun! It is little wonder that people keep returning day after day and also year on year. 5 euros for 2 beds and umbrella and free use of kayaks, paddle boards and a number of other things. Food and drinks plentiful - very good and very reasonably priced. A must visit!

Fanari Beach is definitely worth a visit if you’re staying on Meganisi. You can easily spend a whole day there. It’s just £5 for sun beds and there are canoes and kayaks that are free to use. There’s also a good selection of food and drinks available; not to mention the stunning view. I’d give 4 and a half stars here if I could but it just about misses out on a five as I found the service at the bar a little frosty at times and the cocktails weren’t quite up to scratch. I’d suggest going for the beer or wine. As for the food the calamari and Greek salad was great.

The only beach on Meganissi which has beach facilities, showers toilets and two restaurants/bars. Go to the more simple restaurant directly behind the beach, the simple menu is excellent and the staff really welcoming, they only charge €5 for at parasol and 2 sun beds. Avoid the noisy brash beach bar next door, its totally out of keeping for this great beach setting. Only a short drive from Vathi and well worth a trip.
