This is a very pleasant beach with crystal clear water which was warm in June. The shingle is less trying on your feet than other local beaches. There are 2 or 3 beach bars where you can eat, drink and hire loungers so it can get crowded. Parking can be difficult unless you arrive early. Certainly suitable for a family day out.

There are 2 areas of the beach with sun loungers which are owned by 2 separate beach bars.
We favoured the smaller of the two whose bar is small and set on the other side of the road off the beach.
The cost for the use of 2 loungers and thatched sun shade is 5 euros.
The co owner is very friendly and attentive to visitors and she and staff serve drinks and food to customers on the beach. Tasty food at a reasonable cost.
The swimming off this beach is the best ever. The water is clear, warm and very buoyant. We would recommend wearing "water shoes" to access the sea.
Altogether we spent 4 very enjoyable days on this beach.

Fanari Beach is definitely worth a visit if you’re staying on Meganisi. You can easily spend a whole day there. It’s just £5 for sun beds and there are canoes and kayaks that are free to use. There’s also a good selection of food and drinks available; not to mention the stunning view. I’d give 4 and a half stars here if I could but it just about misses out on a five as I found the service at the bar a little frosty at times and the cocktails weren’t quite up to scratch. I’d suggest going for the beer or wine. As for the food the calamari and Greek salad was great.

We hired 2 sun beds on this beach however we left after an hour .
The beach was very busy and unfortunately had annoying lady’s loudly gossiping in the water.
Not a relaxing experience won’t be returning the only positive was the bar across the road that service nice sandwich’s.
Better look elsewhere if you won’t peace quiet.

One of the prettiest and busiest beaches in Lefkada. We were very surprising when we payed only 6 euros for two sun beds and an umbrella! Plus they do have sup boards and canoes that give to customers for free along with the sun beds! We were very happy definitely recommend this beach if you want an organized one that worth the money in Meganisi. Make sure to go to the beach bar on the right side!

Fanari beach is a short drive out of Vathi and a place not to be missed. Lovely clear blue waters, like swimming in a pool and surrounded by many species of fish.
Colourful Beach bar offers great value at only €5 to hire two sun beds and umbrella, outdoor shower and free use of paddle boats etc. Good basic food menu, excellent service and nice ambiance. A must visit if your in Vathi for a few days.

Brilliant place. 5 euros for two sun beds and free use of kayaks and paddle boards. The beach is pebbly. The water is clear. Quite a long trek from any village or hotels but well worth it. The Hotel Meganissi provides a free schuttle bus for its guests.

lovely beach .. white small grain pebbles and blue sea : it is steeply shelved into deeper blue water and great for swimming and getting in quick! good snorkeling with loads of smaller fish and some larger ! saw a big blue Dorado chasing sprats here !.. bar is fun and efficient and really liked seeing the accessability to the water for a wheel chair user ... from car to sea ! and a changing hut too ? !! well done someone because this is not typical in Greece!

Very beautiful beach with extremely clear waters and a very nice view to the inlet and all the boats passing by.
One of very few beaches with sunbeds and beach bar services on Meganisi. We stayed at the more colourful Jammin Paradise. You can easily spend a couple of hours here.
