We did the introductory climb with one adult never having done any climbing and 2 children aged 11 and 14 who have done a little indoor climbing. This was our first outdoor climb. The rocks we climbed looked small but were challenging enough for us. Virginie had us all learning to belay and belaying each other ( I was rather scared to be belayed by my 11 year old daughter)! The climbing was very enjoyable, Virginie was very helpful and let us do as much climbing as we wanted, the experience was a good 3hrs. The most challenging part of the experience was the walk up to the climbing site along a very narrow, sometimes steep and slippery path. My daughter was quite scared coming down this but Virginie helped her. You cannot do this activity in wet weather - the walk up would be very slippery and dangerous. We also did the white water rafting which was fun, probably quite tame but we enjoyed it. We jumped off the rocks into the river and the river was very cold but you soon warm up in the wet suits

We really enjoyed the canyoning trip of 2 hours with Virgenie. Exiting jumps and glides, both for adults and kids, good atmosphere, and beautiful surroundings. Nice pictures made by Jean. Nice to combine with a visit of St Jean Pied de Port afterwards.
