One the last winenery of the Estrada do Vinho in Sao Roque, famous for the production of wines by Portuguese and Italian immigrants. In my opinion, this is the best place to go: there is a complex of wine shop, restaurant, souvenir shop, coffee shop. Very well preserved, you can taste the wines, coolers in the shop, or relax near to the lake with lots of carpa fishes. In the evening there are some musicians playing typical songs in the garden. After all, you can have meal in their restaurant - parmegiana beef, cod fish, stroganoff etc. Good place to go with family, children to spend a nice day trip. Most of wine are sweet (deemed of lower quality), but they also are producing fine wines. For somedays, you can book a visit to the production of wines.

This Vinicola is a wonderful place for wine lovers! It is a wine shop which offers the opportunity not only to have degustation, but also to buy wines with a wide range of variety.
There are other kinds of shops around it, including restaurants, and they also arrange visits to Vineyards in the region. Unique experience!

We enjoyed the tour, although it was all in Portuguese and we speak very little. The wines were the best in the area, and the winery was beautiful. The area has other wineries as well, but this should be a target to stop.

We visited during the week. Calm, such different from weekend. We got the selected wine tasting. After an amazing experience we got lunch at the restaurant. Please try steak: vale do vinho.with a delicious wine sauce accompanied by mandioquinha aligot and to complete perfectly: risotto with artichoke. All Covid protocols obeyed.

The wine is good, a bit sweet to my taste. But if you want to try a local wine this is a place to go. Raised and produced locally. I believe that the wineries in this place are from Italian families that were immigrants in Brazil a few decades. History and quality! A must to try!

We were advised to ask for the premium tasting, you need to pay a reasonable charge, and the wines and sommelier attention are much better. Great experience, recommended.

Unfortunately this was the last place the first day on the route so we stayed there only 20-30 minutes, short time I think. The next 2 days it was to many people for us so we went on to next winery. Recomend this place when it is less people.

The place is clean and a nice tourist trap.
It is missing however the basic friendliness Brazilian people are know for.
As you walk in you will encounter No information regrading wine testing. Just a regular wine store and a fair amount of souvenirs.
There is a wine testing area way to small for the amount of customer on week ends.
So you wait in line for you wine testing BUT no! your sommelier will point you to the register where you were supposed to make a 15 Real payment for the rights to test 4 samples of their mediocre stuff. The long wait and attitude in this place is a turn off.
