May be because it was highly recommended from the agency we choose for the private trip in Mendoza. I guess and they are doing it so they can meke better commissions out of this bodega. Well yes it is big and moderneith an great art hall but service and food in the restaurant is not on the level that will... More

On our tour through Valle de Uco Bodega Salentein was the second stop. The winery is really impressive and worth to see but the price of 250 Pesos only includes a quick tasting with three small amounts of wine. That was really sad also because the wines they offered us are not so expensive to buy. So I would say... More

Salentein is a larger producer with a significant range of wine offerings. We went for a tasting, not lunch. Very impressive facility. We did the reasonably priced group tasting, (200 pesos) which our travel agent arranged, and we would probably like to have a private tasting to see some of the higher end labels that Salentein produce. Tried to change... More

The most modern and impressive building in the area. Our tour guide Beto was excellent, very knowledgeable and friendly. We found it to be the best winery in the area and the wines are delicious. They've managed to keep the traditional methods in spite of being one of the largest wine producers in the region. Definitely a must see!

Impressive winery, excellent wines. Of all the wineries we visited in the region, this is by far the best, on all counts: architecture, setting, quality of the wine, balance with price level, etc. Do not pass through the region without stopping here. Only room for improvement was our tour guide; who took his job so seriously that he came across... More

This was our first stop with our 2016 Culinary & Wine Tour group to Argentina. Very impressive architecture and design with reinforced concrete, located in one of the most prestigious regions: Valle de Uco The underground cellar is spectacular. We had a private tour of the facilities, finishing with a very nice wine tasting. Great wines, this is a must... More

Salentein was the first winery I visited in Argentina and the size really impressed me. The cellar was really wonderful, complete with a grand piano that we were allowed to have a play. Our guide spoke perfect English. The cost of our visit was 200 paso. We enjoyed a tour followed by 3 wine tastings. The wine was excellent. After... More

This was our first winery visit on a trip to Argentina. What a view! Set against the back drop of the snow covered Andes with clear blue sky above. Extremely informative tour of the winery followed by interesting tasting. Highly recommended!
