Okay so the site is just a couple of low pyramid type structures. However the history and the skill that is behind the structures is impressive, There is an information plaque and the structures were well groomed and cared for without the usual litter found elsewhere. Make sure you treat them with respect as they are burial sites.

Whilst being under promoted and protected, the royal tombs are an intriguing historic site that would be a major attraction in a more visited country. It is great to just get out of a vehicle and wander around, exploring an inhabited village intertwined with ancient monuments. It isn’t Machu Picchu or the Angkor temples, but anyone with reasonable expectations would understand and respect this place and its importance in South Pacific history.

Important to remember this place is a sacred site and to respect Tapu. For an outside observer it doesnt look to be much, but if you understand the history of the area and its significance it will hold alot more meaning.

Nothing interesting. No parking, it is awfully organized. In fact, NOT organized. It has not even aspect of an attraction.
