- JudgysNorthamptonshire, United Kingdom345 contributionsI think this is reasonably priced for a good 5 hours of fun as a family. We have not been for 11 years and wow what a change. A warm welcome as you arrive with a list of feeding times listed on the wall so you can see these amazing creatures feed. This is not just crocodiles but like a mini zoo with snakes and other smaller reptiles, large and small crocs, meerkats, clouded leopard who we did get a glimpse of, giant tortoise, dragon and so much more. There is a play area outside for running off steam in between visiting the hot areas as it really is warm. Crocs need to stay toasty so be prepared to strip off at feeding time indoors. The feeding time was great as the keeper explained that this was not about putting on a show but crocs in captivity need exercise so they demonstrated how they got them to move around. Take coats so you are prepared for being in the external areas. Staff were lovely and very knowledgeable. We did use the cafe which we did not think was too overpriced like other venues similar to this. Giftshop, again was not unrealistic in price. Lots of learning and fun seeing the variety of Crocs.Visited February 2025Traveled with familyWritten February 1, 2025
- Tanya D4 contributionsAbsolutely loved this place. Was bought Galapagos Tortoise Feeding experience as a Christmas present by my boyfriend. The price also included entry for us. We had the best few hours, despite being a rainy and cold day. Callum who looked after us whilst we were doing the Tortoise Experience, was great and extremely knowledgeable, answering any questions we had and telling us all about the Tortoise's that were there. So many other animals to wander around and look at, especially loved all the Crocs and alligators. Cafe and Toilets on site as well as a lovely gift shop.Visited January 2025Traveled as a coupleWritten February 8, 2025
- CassimaSKBicester, United Kingdom443 contributionsOur visit was fantastic, we saw the crocodiles of all sizes and also other reptiles. Quite warm in some areas which we knew about in advance so we left our puffer jackets in a car. The food in cafe was delicious (chilli con carne with chips) and very generous portions. The souvenir shop offers a good choice of gifts. I would come back in a warmer season.Visited January 2025Traveled as a coupleWritten March 13, 2025
- Freddie HNorwich, United Kingdom12 contributionsI would say this is a 4 star as it was very hot. But it is very interesting to see all of the animals and reptiles. The food was a little bit expensive but that’s what happens when you go to a zoo. The foot was nice and they had slushy. I also saw a crocadile feeding which was awesome. I definitely suggest going here if you are looking for something to do or for a birthday party.Visited November 2024Traveled with familyWritten November 30, 2024
- rebecca B28 contributionsFun family time. Not a full day out and it gets very busy for the size of the park for example during croc feedings and around the small cafe and playpark area, its very crowded. The animals seemed to all be very well looked after and happy. Overall we enjoyed it and it's not over pricedVisited August 2024Traveled with familyWritten October 6, 2024
- JohnReading, United Kingdom97 contributionsVisited for a crocodile feeding experience which was great fun and very informative. Callum was really knowledgable and there was no rush to the experience. The price included entrance fee which was good and seemed reasonable given the costs they must have running the place. The main crocodile house is rather warm and very humid (to be expected) so worth having water on hand! Would recommend especially for a rainy / winters day as most of the croc exhibits are very in doors. Two cups of clipper decaf tea in paper cups was £6 which seemed a little steep.Visited August 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten August 7, 2024
- Daryl MUnited Kingdom7 contributionsThe tropical setting had us feeling like wannabe Steve Irwins, minus the "Crikey!" The feeding demos were jaw-dropping (pun intended), and we learned these scaly fellows aren't just swimming handbags. The staff's passion for raising awareness about conservation had us completely hooked. My partner kept joking about adopting one for our bathtub - thankfully, they don't do takeaways! Best date ever, if you're into reptiles with toothy grins! 🦎💚Visited October 2024Traveled with familyWritten October 27, 2024
- Isobel Ibis28 contributionsAn incredible day out – a stunning array of crocodilians and reptiles, beautifully designed/planted enclosures and vivaria, and a strong conservation message, with numerous conservation success stories across the park. The Galapagos tortoise experience was amazing, getting to see and feed such giants up close! Likewise, the Nile Crocodile feed was not to be missed – watching the crocodiles jump out of the water towards me in effort to catch their lure-fed food was thrilling! All the keepers and staff were incredibly knowledgeable, kind, helpful, and passionate about the animals they work with. A huge thank you to keepers Ben and Lewis for facilitating such amazing animal experiences, and to Imogen in the gift shop/entrance for her delightful and helpful customer service throughout the day. I look forward to visiting again in future 😊Visited October 2024Traveled soloWritten October 10, 2024

Spent 3.5 hours here and really enjoyed it, the admission price was good too. Definitely coming back for the komodo dragon experienceVisited February 2025Traveled as a coupleWritten February 1, 2025
- mysteryguestLeicester, United Kingdom37 contributionsWe happened to see a sign for this place on our way to another village so decided to visit it the following day. So glad we did! It's an amazing place with so many reptiles and Crocodiles to see. The enclosures are perfectly acclimatised and very well looked after. The staff are great and very knowledgeable. They are also the only UK zoo to have successfully bred Glapagos tortoises which are awesome to see! Well worth a visit.Visited September 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten September 11, 2024

If you’re a crocodile fan, or even if you’re not, this is an impressive collection and enclosures are viewed from above on safe walkways or from eye level through glass.
The large building that houses the crocs is very warm , your glasses and camera lens will mist, the atmosphere and the plants are tropical. There are talks and feeding displays a couple of times a day from extremely knowledgeable keepers. You’ve more to see in the entrance building, smaller reptiles/snakes in glass fronted enclosures and outside is a great play park for the kids and cafe , we didn’t sample the food but it looked typical cafe food.
It was quiet when we visited , late in the day and out of school holidays but I suspect it will get quite busy at times , the place is big enough though to accommodate a lot of people across the various parts of the ‘zoo’

Booked in advance on line, as recommended, whilst Bar Coded Tickets were emailed, didn't need, just need to check in with your name.
Upon arrival, was somewhat underwhelmed when seeing the rather shabby former farm or industrial buildings, but on entering the zoo any negative vibes were quickly blown away!
If anyone thinks you've seen one crocodile you've seen them all, this will change your mind; lots of different types with thorough and interesting descriptions and facts displayed. Not all are behind glass, some are in open displays, and the main large area with the walkways enabling you to look down on them took the experience to another level!
There are not just Crocodiles and Alligators. Lizards, Meerkats, some snakes, and giant Galapagos Tortoises (the latter being in an open display) added to the enjoyment.
There is a schedule of feeding routines throughout the day, those of the Meerkats and Crocodiles particularly enjoyable to watch, the pleasant staff giving interesting talks along the way.
Some reviews have made the point of the steep admission charges, but one must bear in mind that looking after these creatures won't be cheap, not least feeding and maintaining the necessary hot temperatures.
There are "experiences" (e.g. keeper) which can be booked, but these are expensive, around £40 (maybe necessarily so), so parents facing "pester power" from their children- beware!
The only slight disappointment was that the Snow Leopard, and monkeys were not seen, either they weren't there or were hiding well, but this did not detract from the great experience had by us, and we would go again.

We took our grandchildren here in half term ages 4 and 7, we all had an amazing afternoon. The crocodile feeding was not only entertaining but very interesting and the staff member was excellent answering questions. We spent 4 hours here so went round a couple of times which I would recommend as we viewed a lot of statue like crocodiles and then we saw them swimming or just moving around. It is a small collection but very good value for money. We will definitely return and the Grandchildren haven’t stopped talking about it!

Well kept animals and lovely conservation work but incredibly expensive for a few hours. Smaller children were less impressed with the alligators and crocodiles that barely did more than blink. So overall very expensive for 2 adults and a four year old, almost £42 for a few hours. It would be reasonable at £8 for an adult and £6 for a child or £22 for a family (2 adults and 2 children). There is a nice small playground which my grandson liked and it’s well kept. There’s a big toy shop inside. Very little interaction to be had. Overall I wouldn’t go back or recommend it for children who don’t like to be still and observe. For the same money i’d go down the road to the cotswold wildlife park which is huge and well worth the money.

A great place to visit to get an insight into the lives of crocodiles and other species. It is very well kept, well laid out and an amazing large group of crocodiles in the feeding area. It is very hot and humid inside so was great to have an area outside where there were other animals to see a cafe and play area for children. There is limited parking so booking is advisable so you can be given a time slot . Highly recommended.

My 7 year old son went on the junior keeper experience today and absolutely loved it! The zoo keeper, Callum, was so patient and amazing with the kids - there was my son and 2 slightly older kids, one of whom had learning difficulties. They all fed and held different types of crocs and alligators, which was brilliantly supervised and no pressure on the kids if they just wanted to watch - my son was nervous when it came to it and Callum was so patient and held his hand. Callum was really engaging and told us lots of fun and interesting facts and stories - including meeting and hearing about the komodo dragon (I wont ruin it, but it's not a he or a she and has a twin!). I can't recommend this junior experience enough. Same for a visit to the zoo, they really have something for everyone; leapords, meerkats, bintarong, snakes, galapagos tortoises and the biggest crocs and alligators I've ever seen. The staff are all friendly and the gift shop area and two cafes are very reasonably priced. Thee are two play parks and an interactive nesting area with a sound button which my kids love. Plenty of parking, picnic areas and it's easy to find.

I'm actually quite shocked at how entitled and dim some members of the public truly are. I really don't understand some of the bad reviews and some clearly have not understood the purpose of this place. I appreciate that people want to watch what they spend but think what the entrance fee is actually going toward, does anyone understand what it might cost to heat all the enclosures or to pay for veterinary costs, not to mention standard business overheads. For the admission price you are getting up close and personal to many species that you often don't see in larger zoos, just watching a feed this close is a special treat and for most would be a once in a lifetime experience. Crocodiles are one of the most wonderous creatures on the planet and to see them this near and in the UK is worth the drive and admission fee. I would highly recommend this for a few hours of your time. Expand your minds, you are contributing toward the growth and running of something that is very much worth it. I came away with a very happy child who to begin with was scared, but now having seen them closely, isn't.
Also research enclosure sizes, Gator land in Florida actually has much smaller ones.

Visited this place during mid-February and spent around two hours there before closing time. Good range of crocodiles, alligators, lizards, snakes, turtles and mammals. The venue is not huge and we managed to explore all areas during our time there. The internal temperature within the main crocodile house is warm and humid so it is advisable to wear layered clothing (as we did during our visit as it coincided with the winter months). During our visit, we managed to witness the Nile crocodile feeding event which was well worth it. The inhabitants of the crocodile sanctuary appeared to be kept in good and relatively spacious conditions.

Planning a trip around the Cotswold towns we found this unexpected gem of a venue in the middle of the English countryside. Although it specialises in over 100 different crocodile specimens from all over the world, there were many other (often more active !) animals on show.
The zoo is well laid out with the large crocodiles housed in a very hot and humid building. Visiting on the hottest day of the year (so far) coming out from the building, after watching the feeding session, it was helpful to find the adjacent cafe with cold drinks available.
We spent about two hours or so at the zoo, which was enough time to see everything at a very relaxed pace.
Although the zoo is located in a rural area, it is well signposted and easy to find. We had a great time at Crocodiles of the World and would definitely recommend it to others.

We booked a junior croc keeper experience for our 10 year old Grandson. It far outweighed our expectations. Callum who led the experience was excellent. The delivery of his wealth of knowledge was well paced and appropriate for the audience. There were three junior croc keepers on our visit. Callum was sensitive and careful to ensure all the boys had an opportunity to have questions heard and encouraged participation by all - brilliant. They got to handle 3 year old alligator and also a crocodile. Safety was a priority for animals and children and was very well managed. Callum showed real respect for the animals.
We felt the animals all appeared well cared for and their environments were very clean and well kept. In all we spent four and a half hours at Crocodiles of the World but with the experience we could have been there the whole day.
A great day out - would highly recommend.

Flat footwear, due to "decking" style walkways around the open enclosures, and some areas of uneven ground.

I don’t know the area well. Is there something else nearby suitable for families so we could make a day of it?

I would suggest a visit to Bourton-on-the-Water, for a walk along the river, shops and plenty of tea rooms & ice cream places. About 20 min drive from Crocs of the world, there's a large car park just down the river from Bourton centre - one of the busier nice places in the Costwolds.

Yes the crocodile section is indoor as are the reptiles. There are a few outdoor bits as well. However you won’t spend long there maybe an hour or two, but worth a visit if you like animals.

I think i recall it was £11 for adults but not sure how much for children. Whilst covid is bothering us all you'll need to book to be assured of your visit. We booked & paid the same time a few days pre visit. It's a fascinating/educating few hours & there's a good cafe there but tables are outside now.
