This is a good cycle route to Rushden from Higham Ferrers to keep of the main roads, However... only when the council can be bothered to cut back the over grown plants and pick up the dog poo!

This used to be part of my cross country course. This was where I hid till the second lap came round then I finished fresh and smiley!! It's easier to access for people.

Much better since being done as before it was full of weeds with just a bit of a muddy track through it.

Well, there are lots of paths to walk along! This one runs from Rushden Station to Higham. Avoid before/after school as full of kids messing about. You walk along the old rail line.

Excellent use of a disused railway line - planned improvements include a ramp to Washbrook Road and a continuation to Wellingborough Station. Will also connect with Rushden Lakes.
