Had a full monty day as a birthday present, and cannot recommend it highly enough. The team have set up a great range of activities that keep you entertained with clay shooting, archery and flintlock, survival (fire building), and armoury tour, as well as driving four different military vehicles. Even those there as spectators had a chance to get involved in some of the activities. The team really look after you throughout, and keep you well fed and watered throughout the day., with delicious food and snacks, and catered for different food needs. We had a dry day, but it was very muddy, so definitely take suitable boots/wellies.

We had the most amazing day at Tanks Alot. This was a 16th birthday present for my son who had so much fun. Even the spectators were able to join in with some activities. The archery and musket firing were a favourite of mine. Freddie absolutely loved the armoury and the talk given in there was very good. I think we all could’ve spent the whole day in there learning about the different guns. We were all allowed to ride on the Abbot while Freddie drove it round the track. We all want to go back again! The staff are brilliant, friendly and very funny. The kids are still talking about how much Dan made them laugh.

Such an amazing day from start to finish!! I had the Full Monty experience as a surprise birthday gift and had no idea what to expect for the day. Absolutely fantastic!! From the survival session, clay pigeon shooting, tank driving, archery.. the list goes on. If you have a chance go and experience it, you won't be disappointed!!

This was the best day ever. I've been wanting to do this all my life. I've bored family, friends, even strangers telling them about the day. I'm now known as commander Phillips I can't fault anything. The whole day was amazing. It was so well organised, everyone involved was incredible. I can't praise the staff enough. The food was great, lots of choice. To spend such an brilliant day with my husband and two sons, was an added bonus. A big thanks to everyone involved

Had a fantastic time doing the Full Monty experience as a birthday gift ( through Virgin Experience Days). I went solo, but had a great time getting to know all the other participants, and the very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The crew were attentive and made sure no-one missed out; they offered to take pictures and videos for us, and gave plenty of encouragement and guidance. The experience itself was a mix of driving and riding in various armoured vehicles, clay, musket, and 18th century mortar shooting, and a few talks on firearms and outdoor survival basics. For tank-nerds it was brilliant to see some unique vehicles in action, with plenty more laid up in storage, and to chat about them with knowledgeable staff and participants. There were plenty of casual participants too, and a good mix of young and old, boys and girls. Lunchtime provisions were more than adequate, and there were plenty of refreshments for a hot June day. The grand finale saw one lucky participant drive a Chieftain tank straight through an old banger. A brilliant spectacle! All in all, a wonderful day, and a brilliant gift.

Growing up in a military family, I've had an unhealthy interest in all things big noisy and a bit dangerous, so this was a perfect birthday present for me. Lots of hands on time with the various tracked vehicles and whilst other people are driving, the site is incredibly fascinating to wander around. The team are incredibly knowledgeable and more than accommodating to take requests - at the end of the event I was allowed to take my own brand new ford ranger for an off road experience, but also used the opportunity to teach my other half some off road driving. This isn't for those who like a relaxed or sterile sort of experience, but for those of us not afraid of a bit dirty and grime these are the ultimate in big boys toys. The staff and owner make this an even better experience with their knowledge wit and genuine love for what they do. Awesome time was had, thank you!

Did the half day experience in June! What a fantastic and unique experience! Definitely a bucket list moment. As if driving two different tanks (Abbot & APC 432) around then ragging a springer around an off road track wasn't exciting enough. I was very lucky to be in THE tank from Fast and Furious as it drove over a car and crushed it. How many people can say they did that!?! But what really makes this day such a brilliant experience is the fabulous team who run the day. Not only is their knowledge and passion, about what they do, extremely impressive but they are the nicest people! I came away wanting all my friends and family to have a go! And I want to do it all again too!

I am lucky enough to say I can tick off driving a tank from my bucket list. I am still beaming after a FANTASTIC day with the Tanks A Lot team. Thank you so much for the experience you were all great. I felt safe the whole time and such a variety of activities throughout the day (clay pigeon shooting, driving tanks, driving the Springer, survival etc) my family also had a great day getting very much involved. Excellent experience. My son and I were well looked after by the team at Tanks Alot . From survival training to clay pigeon shooting to driving armoured vehicles (amongst other things) this was a superb day out. Firing a musket, shooting a bow and arrow, and being allowed to handle ( safely) inactivated pistols, rifles and machine guns. A very special experience.
