Large sandy beach. We were visiting this place at the beginning of September and we were lucky to have good weather.
The entrance in the water was smooth and with few shells and some algae.
We had somme winds and waves but this was all fun for the kids as the water was warm.
The beach has umbrellas and the beach bar is close with beers, coffe, 🍸 or juice.
You can eat at 2 restaurants from the beach.

If one feels adventurous, one might walk the 3-4 km to the beach from Sulina town. Otherwise one will jump into a taxi, or get on the minibus. There's an organized area with parasols and chaise longues, some beach bars and a restaurant. There is also a large stretch of beach, wild, free. where one can only hear the waves crashing, the seagulls doing whatever they do, with shells, shrubs and plenty of peace and quiet. This is the best feature of this still secluded beach, providing one has the necessary sun shade and chairs. It's great for relaxation and for forgetting about pandemic and stuff...

For years I've heard about the white sands and blue waters of the beach at Sulina - this summer I've been there and seen it for myself.
What can I say? - indeed it is a beach like you rarely see in Romania (or almost never) - definitely there will be people complaining about this and that.
What I can tell you : access is not easy - first of all you need to get to Sulina, from the city you have the option to walk, take a boat and or to get there by taxi (yes there are a few cars in Sulina, and some of those are taxis).
The beach has very fine sand ... and the most important thing : it is CLEAN - as clean as beaches are in Greece, Spain, etc.
The water was nice and warm and it is also safe for kids - for about 30-40 m from the shore line the water is only 40-50 cm deep - max 1 m here and there ...
Overall a very nice place - that if one day I suddenly decide for a beach holiday in Romania this is the only I would choose in Ro!!! Go and see for yourself - and you'll understand why.

A quiet place where you can listen the sea, birds and watch wild horses and cows. Music is is low, chillin' and vibing with nature. A lot of families with small children playing in the sand and enjoying the first 100 M of the sea under 1M depth. Warm and calm sea, teaming with banks of small fishes, perfect for "recharging the batteries".

Sulina beach is a small, hidden gem on the Black sea. Kind of a wild beach where you can see horses and cows wondering around. Great place for relaxing . Middle part of the beach is arranged for tourists, with sunbeds, beach bars, couple of restaurants and few fast food joint. Your snacks and drinks are covered for day. Prices are very friendly, even in the high, summer season.
Aside of that, you can take a long walk to distant parts of the beach, to find peace and calm. And many sea shells.
Not only during the day, but, nights have few surprise too. From beach bar parties, star gazing, swimming with illuminating plankton's ( amazing experience). On top of it all, wait for the moon rising on the beach, it is absolutely spectacular!

If you're looking for a calm, wild beach, then this is the place for you. The sea is calm and the views are great. I recommend you to visit the old town as well!

It's deeply romantic to stand there when non-one else is about, and reflect that this is the end of the known world, or at least the very end of Europe. When you're there, take the opportunity to visit the beautiful and moving foreigners' cemetery just inland from the beach, where among others there are buried many who worked for the original European Danube Commission, based in Sulina.

A beautiful place, but with few services. We felt very good on the beach, very warm water, clean and good for swimming. The most important aspect is that this place is ideal for families with small children, as the water is very small (less than 50 centimeters) even 60 meters from the beach.

The beach is long and wide with
extremely fine and white sand. The sea is black from combination of the Black Sea with Danube Delta. Wonderful sunrise and sunset here. For a new experience, one day here, we recommended. More about this location and anothers, you can enjoy subscribing to the YouTube channel : Dan & Beka journey

Wonderful sand but with lots of trash that can cut your feet. Water kindda dirty because of the past raining season but warm.
