We had a great time at Jarvzoo. The animals were plentiful and set in their beautiful, natural habitat. The boardwalk was very easy to navigate - my parents who are in their 80's had no problems walking through the zoo. The wolves were fantastic to see. Really enjoyed this place - and I'm not a "zoo" person!

Once again we're back to this fantastic outdoor zoo. We had small children with us this time. It's a long walk but the kids just loved the closeness to the animals. There is so much to see! A small zoo for children was very appreciated were they could pet the animals.

We stayed overnight at the Jarvzoo wolf hotel on our way up to Jamtland. Located in the hills above Jarvso, the enclosures are designed to blend in with the natural surroundings. The elevated boardwalk travels between the enclosures for about 3km - a beautiful walk in the woods even without the animals. The wolf hotel takes it to another level... More

This is really a wildlife park, not a zoo. You need about 3 hours to walk the mountain board walk. We saw wolves, wolverine, lynx, reindeer, moose, a variety of owls, bears and many others. A first class forest experience.

A great little zoo. You walk along wooden boardwalks to view the different animal enclosures. All of the animals seemed content and no pacing like you see with animals at other zoos. The highlight for me were the four wolverines and the three wolf packs. The wolves were very curious and approached the fence to check us out. They had... More

I have visited this place several times. Just love to walk around in these peaceful and natural environments and view/photograph the wild animals. Both winter and summer has it's own charm. Last time I was here the playful bear cubs really made the visit extra cheerful.

We went with my boyfriend so he could should me the Swedish fauna. We were lucky to see almost all animals (except for bears who were of course sleeping). The staff at the reception is very kind. Then the place in winter is like a fairy tale. Although it was a very cold day (-14 degrees) and we would have... More

If you are interested in animals, Järvzoo is an amazing experience. Here you can see all native species from Nordic country and you dont even realized that you are in a zoo.
