My wife and I took a day tour with Paul Hyams to the Dead Sea. We walked through Ein Gedi, floated in the northern end of the Dead Sea and finished the day with a jeep tour of the Judean Desert. All in all a wonderful day. Paul is extremely knowledgeable, personable, and for those that only speak English, perfect with his charming Australian accent. We would highly recommend Paul and his colleagues at Aussie Tours for any tours in Israel.

We had a trip of a lifetime with Paul. Paul catered our trip to our needs and we are a family with four adventurous kids. Paul was a wealth of information and knowledge. Everything from the biblical / historical to the best places to eat. The pace was perfect and Paul would regularly throw in additional sites and visits along the way to keep us on our toes and fresh. We had an intensive with Paul through the north and Galilee. Paul's organisational skills and planning were outstanding. Everything from the itinerary, fresh water, breaks, etc was thought of. I would highly recommend Paul and a trip to Israel without Paul's knowledge and guidance is a lost opportunity. Can't wait to do it again.

From the moment we were greeted by Paul's smile we knew we were going to have a great time. He picked us up in Yerushalayim and we went to Masada, Ein Gedi and the dead sea. Paul treated us with his knowledge of all places. His rendition of the letter written by one of residents of Masada was amazing and touching. He had so much patience knowing there was some difficulty with our getting around. Paul has a keen sense of humor along with a nice Aussie laugh. We learned so much and along the way to and fro, Paul would show us certain sites. If you are looking for an extremely knowledgeable guide along with a great personality and gift of details with patience and wit, then Paul is your man. It was a truly great day. Paul gave us a fantastic day out in Jerusalem’s old City. His wealth of knowledge is incredible and he was able to keep all our children engaged for the entire day. Paul spoke to us at length before the trip to hear our family’s needs and he customized the schedule to suit us. He was available through WhatsApp and email for any changes we needed to make. He also helped us plan several other day tours that we were doing. He helped us secure drivers and rentals. Everyone he set us up with was reliable and friendly.
Even though we were touring during an incredible heat wave, the day was planned to perfectly accommodate with the right amounts of stops and breaks and we were full of energy the whole day.
We have been to the old city and have done tours before but Paul showed us an entirely new perspective of this incredible city. All our children were quoting him for the duration of our stay.
Thank you for an amazing tour experience. Highly recommended for all ages and backgrounds.

I had the bucket list experience of not only touring Jerusalem's Old City but having Paul as my tour guide. His knowledge from both the historical and religious perspectives was 2nd to none and he kept the entire day engaging, enlightening and thoroughly engrossing. I started the day not realizing how little I truly knew about this amazing City, and I left not only with a great and profound appreciation of its history and religious significance, but with a new acquaintance I'm happy to call both a teacher and a friend. Travel Guide Travel Guide . Number 1 ratio and service. Great explanations good prices compared to other tour guides. An extensive tour covering Jerusalem, Masada, Dead Sea and Ein Gedi was organised by Paul. His level of knowledge was very detailed and delivered in a casual and funny way. Paul was very organised, efficient, caring and friendly. Thank you for making the memories so wonderful.

Have to start this review simply saying, hands down the best tour guide. My trip to Israel was a blend of both business and pleasure, Paul agreed to tour us around on short short notice which we're greatly appreciative of. From the moment we were greeted by Paul's smile and upbeat demeanor, we knew we were going to have a great time. Paul knowledge of Jerusalem and area is astounding and most importantly his excellent way of sharing it; it was a real treat to guide us to all the places and the rich knowledge of the history and religious significance. We learned so much along the way and Paul even took us to a few "off the path" sites. As an aside we requested to go see the Jerusalem market, what a place. Thank you Paul!!

Paul reached out to me before the tour to make sure everything would work for us, mobility, kashrus etc. He handled the arrangements for our wine tour, brought us to a scenic biblical sight, and to a small area with flowers in bloom. Paul made sure the trip was enjoyable and enriching. Would definitely recommend him to a friend.

We were a large group - 17 including a few kids - and you kept us engaged, interested, and excited to learn more about these ancient sites. Though many of the adults in our party had been on similar tours before, your knowledge and enthusiasm really elevated our experience, and enabled everyone to reconnect with the content and land in a new, thought-provoking way.
Your love for Israel was as apparent as your vast knowledge of the history and lore. Thank you again for your time and commitment, and for sharing your experience and perspective with us - it truly took our trip for good to great!
