Very attractive for families, especially in hot days. The trail inside the cave is comfortable and shows many kinds of stalactites. There are 150 stairs from the gate to the cave, but it's nice walk with views

Splendid caves but make sure to visit with the fewest people possible... We went with around 20 people with kids and they were screaming and talking very loudly... Not nice inside a cave...

After climbing down over 400 steps, the experience of walking through the cave made the 400 steps back up, worthwhile. The cave had magnificent stalactite/stalagmites. Scheduled tours in Hebrew or English were spaced out so the cave was not crowded nor defaced by crowds. Structures...More

This place is unique, and found in 1968. Since then, it is open for public. There is many parking area, and you need to get down for 150 stairs, and then go up! Inside is like being in other world.

Nothing esp great about the caves. It was an OK think to do but I feel like the caves where "dead" and that this was just a tourist attraction. I've seen much better in other places.

Really beautiful site with an interesting history. You have to stay to they path, so if you saw the pictures and expected to be able to go nuts you will be a little let down.

We enjoyed the guided tour in English . The Cave is amazing ! Be prepared to walk 159 stairs from the parking lot to the Cave entrance.. and back up!

We didn't expect to see much here, but it was a great underground cavern, with beautiful lighting and magnificant rock formations. We were very happily surprised with this site.

take the shuttle from the old train station in Jerusalem to the Ashpatot gate. it's free. then walk eastward and you will find a nice spot to take some pics. there is a path down to the tomb. it an easy and short walk.
