I took my 5 children for their first golf lesson today with James as the Pro. He was superb and all the children have asked to return for more. The club appears to actively encourage youngsters into the sport which I very much appreciated The members I encountered were welcoming and open. There is a large free car park, am... More

Fantastic golf course, very punishing bunkers, good variety of holes. Imposing club house, very traditional. Recommended.

Played here on a breezy day, but dry and warm. This is an excellent course layout, bunkering and some tough rough are key to its toughness. Excellent condition and not too busy, lovely location and excellent staff. This is an 'old school' golf club with many plus points, but it's stuffiness is isn't Achilles heal, a shame really

This is a top top links golf course. A really good challenge.Best greens you'll ever play in winter. In summer they're even better.Traditional2 ball course well worth a visit. Good food and very friendly club. This is a must for golf lovers especially if you like tradition. When the wind blows you'll have your hands full but the course always plays... More

Challenging golf, all usual facilities provided. Pro-shop and old clubhouse very accessible, everything works and the staff and catering are perfectly satisfactory. Parking is adjacent.

The golf course was in good condition but not for the faint hearted. The service in the club house could be improved and with a little staff training in hospitality.

This is a true links golf course. It is a good test of golf.....and when the wind is blowing....well it is really tough, but still very enjoyable! The staff are very friendly and the club house serves great food.

Played 18 holes of this traditional old links golf course. There have been many prestigious golf tournaments held here over the years and the club is at least 150 years old. The course was successful defending itself, as usual. The greens were in good shape and not terribly tricky. The 7th hole was guarded by a giant sand trap -... More

Stunning golf course - a high-quality links with some excellent holes. We played on a blustery day which made scoring difficult! The staff in the pro-shop were really welcoming and told us of the changes to the course since our previous visit 3 years before. We paid for the 'golf and meal deal' - £75 each - 18 holes of...
