My daughter and I stayed 2 nights in order to attend a family wedding nearby. The service was attentive, considerate and generous. The rooms were clean; beds comfy, well equipped and everything that you would expect from a quaint pub B&B. The food is particularly delicious and very good value for money. We wish the new owner "Billie" every success as it is clear he wants the place to be a success and his clients to feel they have enjoyed their stay. Well we did..and should I visit the area again will certainly book this pub as our choice if venue.

What a shame the current licences are leaving soon. I really hope the new incumbents will be as good and wish the current folks all the luck in the future.

We visited Sandwich and Deal which are nearby and well worth a visit, advise that you take and use a Satnav.

Can only say that I wish we had found this treasure before as I think it's closing. Food was so delicious, well cooked, fresh and hot. Ten in our party and we were given a lovely room to ourselves. We feasted on creamy garlic mushrooms, soup and cod bites. Roast beef and turkey, lamb pie, steak n ale pie and a rabbit with black pud pie (pies are huge with tops, bottoms and sides!) finishing off with strawberry sundae, cheesecake and raspberry roulade oh and lots of fresh veg, including cauliflower cheese, mash and roasties. So reasonably priced you won't believe it. And the pub itself is quaint and welcoming. I didn't meet the couple who it but they and their staff are true professionals in hospitality.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch with our son and Grandson who was 11 months old meal was perfect and would recommend to anyone. owners and staff very professional and friendly, food we couldn't fault or service really enjoyed our time and was nice that they complemented that our Grandson so so well behaved in his highchair they even gave him a toy to play with have enjoyed going back there about 5 times since this time, you will not leave there feeling hungry, and you leave feeling happy 5 stars all the way 😊
