We arrived to this location by chance, as the other winery we went to see was almost empty and no one there.
So we found Palivou Estate, and received by a smiling woman, Maria, she was our guide, and explained well the whole history of...More
This is not California or the rest of Europe! The ruins of the temple of Hercules is nearby. That is impressive, but we came to Ancient Nemea for the wine and not the archeology. We can see why Ancient people loved this place... it is...More
We popped in after visiting the ancient sites and Nemea town. We hadn’t booked and they were very happy to show us the cellar, vineyard and winery. We paid for an extensive tasting of 7 wines or hostess was generous in pouring. Simple snacks were...More
It seems like the only estate you can actually visit for wine tasting (spontaneously, not booked in a group). The girls working at the wine tasting bar are pleasant, quick and knowledgable. Great service! We didn't ask for a tour so I can't really say...More
The hostess was busy when we got there with a camera crew who had also just arrived and a few other customers but she was very polite and professional and saw to us as soon as possible. She was very knowledgable in explaining the wines...More
When we arrived we were met by a young lady who informed us that the wine tasting would cost 7 Euro per person. We informed her that this was the first winery in Greece and Italy to charge us and started to leave. At that...More

When planning a trip to Greece for four people, I made a reservation for a tasting, tour, and light lunch at Palivou Estate. When we arrived, the woman who was working at the winery seemed a little bit confused, like she was not expecting us....More
Excellent wines and very congenial staff. Educational and great location. Great tasting wine. We purchased two bottles of their Bee bottle Wine and we were very satisfied with our purchase. Would be a "must visit" winery when we go back to Greece.

We went on a cruise tour and the winery was a stop in the package. If you like wine, I would pay and buy a variety of their wines, as the cost of the wine is very reasonable for the Quality. We would stop and do another tasting and purchase their "Bee wine". You will not be disappointed. Great experience!
