Torcello’s little Museo is more of an assemblage of numerous historic items discovered / unearthed on the Island. Not so very organized but the exhibited items would easily be cornerstone displays in any big city museum. Savor what you see & one day a great...More

Roman columns and early Christian artifacts makes the entrance inspiring. An interesting Stone carving of a religious figure caught our attention. Stones with Byzantine crosses shows the early Roman influence. Archaeological finds are from Greekand Roman times. Gives you a feel of the importance of...More

After visiting the exceptional Basilica I was underwhelmed by the museum. Sadly, it did not capture my interest and was dull !

again, good place for the nice and colorful pictures and the historical background. But if the weather's too hot, then you might want to quickly move on

I visited this small museum as an add on to the Basilica and Bell tower . It probably was the least interesting and relatively small . There were some interesting ancient pottery but not a lot else

Fun little island. A must for lunch. The museum includes a throne from the 600s attributed to Atilla the Hun (probably not) which makes a fun picture to send back home.
