we used to go to the Chestnut Centre in Derbyshire which unfortunately shut due to the owners retirement... My daughter loved it there, but the otters that were here have been rehomed at the New Forest Wildlife Park, so we took her so she could...More

I went with my 5 year old son and my 7 year old daughter. We had an amazing time, we loved all the animals, informative feeding talks and all the additional activities they offered during the half term. The play areas are brilliant as well.

I disagree with many of the reviews on here - we visited today with our 2 year old, we are not from the area and thought it would be nice to support a local wildlife initiative with the lady at our hotel also recommending it....More

We were in the area so came for a visit. It was good but not great. A couple of hours is enough to see all the animals, if you take a slow walk. The children’s play areas are very good.

Sun out making the day even more enjoyable. Staff super friendly and helpful. Lovely fact quiz along the way for a medal for £1, excellent play area and soooo many animals to see. A must visit even for a picturesque walk

Hello, No dogs are not allowed in the park. There are areas where the animals are roaming free in the enclosure.
