Went to the classic car show and found it expensive and average at best.

We eventually got there after a 5 mile diversion because the road was closed.

Signage at the show was almost non existent.

£10 entry expensive compared to other shows for what was there.

Food, we eventually found the food in the hall only after asking people. The girl serving really looked out of her depth but jn fairness the bacon roll was delicious.

The number of cars was significantly less than previous years and a fraction of what was at the A47 classic car show.

The auto jumble was a joke, a few stalls

The craft stalls as advertised- a couple of tables selling cards.

So in summary, more than twice the cost if entry to the A47, a fraction of the cars, a fraction if auto jumble and food dar better at the A47.

We will not rush back to this classic show which is a pity as it used to be really good

I booked the gin high tea for a birthday present for my sister. Unfortunately we were underwhelmed by the service, it was very slow, the complimentary gin and tonic had three pieces of ice, nowhere near enough for a decent drink. We decided that as it had taken so long to get it, it probably wasn’t worth asking for more. The desserts were tasty and the sandwiches mediocre.
It didn’t feel worth the £25pp.

We was very disappointed with our Pie Night visit. The quality of the food was good but the selection of vegetables which consisted of only carrots & red cabbage was not what we expected for £12.95.
They need to look at other establishments that offer a greater choice and that are more reasonably priced.
It was not good value for money.

We visited the Christmas fayre for the 1st time and it was a lovely day. There were cadets doing the parking monitoring and this was quick efficient and very effective great job.
First off we came to the outside activities such as a climb wall and mini wheel for the children, hot food, coffee /tea van, mulled wine, seating and not forgetting the beautiful owls that were there for people to learn about, hold or stroke all handlers knowledgeable and all owls were rescue.
On entry there was a good one way system you knew exactly where to go lots to see staff very helpful, wrist band can be used all day which was fab as we got to enjoy a lovely walk around the grounds which are beautiful. Lots of stalls to look at from cakes to glass products Christmas gifts and even a sing along.
There was a Santa's grotto there too which was good the elves really interacted with us and the children, theres a quiz and little intervals along the was where you can make different things. Then before meeting Santa you get to meet Mrs Claus. Brilliant day out, lots of people but spread out so wasnt too bad, not much room for wheelchairs/walkers when theres lots of people around but it wouldn't be impossible.
Cant wait to visit next year.

First ever visit here. My girlfriend and I, along with some friends had an amazing Christmas lunch. There was nothing my girlfriend and I could eat as a starter due to food intolerances, so the staff offered us both a fruit salad which was delicious.
The main course, which was a carvery was top notch, as was the dessert (we had lemon tart).
Delightful venue with staff who couldn't do enough for you. Thank you to everyone for a lovely afternoon.

We held a family wake at Beaumanor Hall for 35 people including a number of children and we could not have been more pleased with the service from all of the staff from booking through to leaving.

Lauren was so helpful when we were deciding about exactly what we wanted. Beaumanor was so much more flexible than the other places that I contacted in the local area. We went for a hot buffet with a number of hot food choices for main course and dessert. The food was all of a very high standard, all of the guests commented on the delicious food. The serving staff were also very helpful and friendly.

And lastly the setting was superb. Despite the cold and wet weather we were able to sit and enjoy the company and the food overlooking the gardens.

Thank you.

We went to the Pie Night and were initially very impressed with the building - it is very beautiful. However, the dining area was very school like, not very impressive and I was very ill the next day. I dont know if it was the pies or not, but it did put me off going again. I would say it was average food.

At the beginning of this month, we had our wedding reception at Beaumanor Hall. Leading up to the day, the events team were amazing and took time to listen to what I wanted and supported me through the whole planning process. During my first meeting with Nathan earlier this year, I honestly had no idea what kind of food I wanted to serve etc. but with his support, we came up with the perfect plan that worked for the chilled out atmosphere my husband and I wanted.
On the day of the wedding, the team were just as fantastic as before. Our guests were taken care of so well, we just couldn't have asked for more.
Luckily, the rain stayed away so we took full advantage of the grounds outside - especially for our photos.
A huge thank you to the team at Beaumanor for making our day so special!

We were recommended to try Grill Night so booked a table. Impressed with attentive staff in reception, bar and at our table who took our drink and food orders.. we ordered prawns, tuna and beef starters; cod, herbed chicken, steak with sides mains; eton mess, baked alaska desserts; Food was well presented and delicious. Reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend and would book again.
