Visited Katie's garden today with my family and a friend. Although there was lots of children there, this place is certainly not just for kids as my mum (59), cousin (39) and me (21) all had an absolutely amazing time! There is so much choice of crafts, and all the crafty bits of bobs that you could need to create something awesome. Food is gorgeously presented and was very tasty. Will definitely be returning and would highly recommend anyone to visit.

Had heard all about Katies garden & wanted to try it. I took my two daughters & my friend & her daughter & son.
Got there early wasn't a problem met with the lovely Katherine who was so helpful with the girls there was so much choice they didn't know what to do. Once the kids were settled we ordered drinks pot of tea for two & dilute for kids all very quirky. I would highly recommend this place to anyone nothing was a problem & Katherine remembered our children's names which was special.
I will defo go again & also have food as it looked delicious.

This was my fourth time visiting Katie's garden. I had already been to a fairy garden workshop with my mam. We both loved it. I took my friend and her daughter this time. We all loved it, being creative with plenty of tea then finished off with children's afternoon tea. The café has a lovely atmosphere and staff are friendly. Customer service is great. Nothing is too much trouble. Lots on offer to do and workshops are fantastic to try. I love the ideas of how the afternoon tea is set out such as picnic tables, vintage suitcases and garden wagons. This is a place for all ages from young to old. One of my favourite places in Sunderland to visit. Would recommend to others. Will definitely be back.

I came here with my teenage daughter for a mams and teens event. This involved a cream tea and a craft activity along with mocktails which we made ourselves.
It was a nice way to spend some time with my daughter doing something different from the norm.
Katie and Rachel are very welcoming and make a nice team.
The food came in a picnic hamper and was plentiful - we even took a doggy bag home. If you don't have a sweet tooth you too would struggle to eat it all.
The place itself it a little bit of magic, with its very own tree and a copper coin path. Unique.

Attended Katie’s Secret Garden this evening with my daughter. We had a living social deal for a pumpkin painting experience and really didn’t know what to expect.
Despite arriving early and catching the staff off guard they went out of their way to accommodate us. They were attentive throughout and explained at every stage what to do. Despite juggling a busy birthday party and another table we never felt rushed and they went out of their way to engage with all the children.
The food was served picnic style and the presentation was excellent.
I would not hesitate to recommend

Katie's Garden is somewhere we've wanted to visit for a while having heard great things.
It's gorgeous inside and out , there's so much to see from the magical tree to all the fairy houses.
We had a group of 7 year olds and there were plenty of craft kits to choose from with lots of paint and pens to go round.
Even the menu fits the theme with everything served as part of a little garden.
It's so relaxing , nothing is rushed and it's so friendly .
Can't wait for our next visit !

If you want something different; unusual and personalised this is the place to come and reasonably priced. From the moment you walk up to the door & behind it ; is a world of creativity to the finest detail and magical to open everyone's eyes no matter what the age.
Plenty of room for a private party and not just for the little ones. Our party was the breakfast party.
The ladies helped the little ones right from the start taking there seats too getting creative. Hassle free for the parents.
Even the way they present your food and refreshments is very individual.
Recommend and we will definitely be back.....
