I really like the Hackney Carriage. It has great ales of course as well as ciders and there are other drinks carefully selected for those who aren’t lovers of beer and cider. The owners took trouble to make the space work so it is a...More

Just what we needed it’s a few doors away from one of the best curry houses in Sidcup as well. It has been very busy and to see people actually talking rather than mobile phones on their ears is a godsend. Beer is good and...More

What a Supurb place this is, a wonderful atmosphere and a great choice of ale, 4 different beers on the go and a board telling you what is coming soon. The choice of cider, gin and wine is a revaluation, all served in an environment...More

This place is amazing. Attentive owner who offers tasters of anything you want to try. Very knowledgeable. Great choice of beers and ciders ( although I wish that some of the ciders were a bit weaker!). Great atmosphere and very civilised.

The place was heaving when we popped in for a beer and a G&T, but we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The staff (and patrons) were welcoming and in good spirits, and the place in general had a great atmosphere - sort of like how pubs...More

Serves craft beer so none of your usual lagers, etc. Just great beer! No TV and no music. Just the steady hum of people taking, how a pub should be!

Great little place to dink an excellent craft beer (or cider/wine) - and its dog friendly. Friendly crowd and no mobiles 😀

The gin is called maiden and is locally sourced. They sell a good quality vodka too. And all mixers are fevertree.
