蔚州灵岩寺，在蔚县县城内，就在鼓楼西门内两百米处，是全国重点文物保护单位，不收门票，现在正在全面整修，去到那里是个大的工地，暂不开放。

Imposanter Tempel in der Altstadt

Der Lingyan Si wird derzeit renoviert und ist daher in seiner Attraktivität für Touristen nur sehr schwer einzuschätzen. Die Architektur ist grandios: eine Haupthalle mit relativ flach abfallendem Dach, das stark an Song-Bauten erinnert, und Konsolensystemen, die eher auf eine Ming-zeitliche Entstehung schließen lassen. Im Inneren eine Kassettendecke, die relativ neu wirkt. Als zweite Halle eine relativ große Torhalle, die ebenfalls Ming-zeitlich sein dürfte aber im Inneren älter als die Haupthalle wirkt.
Der Rest der Anlage ist uninteressant. Generell ist die Lage des Tempels dazu geeignet, im Rahmen eines Stadtrundgangs gemeinsam mit den nahe gelegenen Zhenwu-Tempel, Nan'an-Tempelpagode und Caishen-Tempel besucht zu werden.
