A nice area of shops with a well stocked supermarket. They also have a variety of well priced souvenirs that were more than double in our hotel

From getting groceries to wines and luggage (yes, luggage) at the grocery shop to exchanging your dollars into Mauritius Rupees at the bank kiosk, this is a convenient place to go to before or after hitting the beaches. The bakery opens around 8:30 am and offers fresh pastries and good coffee. There are also surfer shops as you are in the territory to enjoy the ocean. This location is a great go-to place while in the area.

Nice place to stop and rest while driving around. Has a supermarket and a bakery selling nice croissants. Plus a pharmacy and some other little shops.

I visited the Cafe Village almost every day during my stay in La Gaulette. The service woman was always smiling and nice (as everyone I met on Mauritius island). Coffee was very good, croissants fresh and crunchy.

Supermarket had everything what I needed to buy for eat. Additionally I could find lot of local stuff and some souvenirs - like the famous Dodo bird.

Large, well stocked supermarket that quite literally sells everything. There's also a cafe, surf shop, clothing store, tea shop, pharmacy and bar/restaurant.

The pharmacy doesn't seem to open particularly early so don't go at 9am. It was open when I tried again at 10am.

The restaurant is definitely worth a visit in the evening.

Plenty of free parking on site as well as an official MCB ATM. The ATM did have a few issues with my card and I wasn't able to withdraw cash.

the perfect place to find snacks, drinks, spare clothing and souvenirs all at better prices than you find at any of the tourist attractions.

Very basic shopping centre with fairly large supermarket where you can get everything you need. Nice little clothing store reasonably priced compared to others in the area. Toilets are not great at all - no toilet paper and they don't provide either so definitely not a matter of running out...

This place has everything you may need. The supermarket has a great range of Mauritian and foreign foods and a large healthy foods section with vegetarian and vegan options. There is a restaurant (enso) which is expensive and so-so and there is a food court which has fresh coffee, fresh pastries and noodles and fried rice. The food at the food court offers more value for money. However the seating area really isn't clean.

One downside to this place is that the toilets aren't great and on my three occasions visiting there was never any soap or toilet paper. In addition the wifi is super patchy.
