Partially worth it

I don’t recommend visiting the palace. It’s way overpriced for what you get. It was a bit bizarre too- there were only a few rooms to see and there were guards in each, engrossed in their phones. I have no clue what their purpose was - were they part of some exposition? does the museum have too much money to give to people who do nothing? if you charge so much for seeing so little and place a person in a room at least make them tell visitors some facts or stories.
Palace gardens were nothing special and again not worth it. The only thing truly worth seeing was the Arcadia gardens. Also I highly recommend eating at “Zloty Prosiak” along the way to the museum -food was cheap delicious and service outstanding!

Sad to see some neglect of a beautiful place
Aug 2021
We visited the palace and the gardens in the middle of summer 2021. The building is quite interesting with eclectic architectural and design elements showing evolving tastes and styles. Impressive and quite unique entry stairway with walls and ceiling entirely covered with Dutch, hand-made, ceramic tiles.
Beautiful furniture, interesting paintings, wall coverings, and sculpture. All well described in each room in informational stands, and supported by surprisingly well-informed security staff, eagerly sharing additional information with visitors. We spoke Polish with them. We are not sure about their other languages proficiency.
The park shows romantic and baroque elements in miniature. Huge plane trees, first-ever planted in Poland in the eighteen century, one supported by massive steel mast and ropes. Walled fruit and vegetable garden full of decaying produce.
All show some neglect and need for proper maintenance. Majolica museum is almost devoid of any information.... what a pity. There is a huge potential to develop educational workshops on majolica, gardening, and landscape design. Huge potential to promote " Friends of Nieborow" voluntary activities, and /or practicum for students of respective faculties to help with the maintenance of the grounds. Also, it is sad to see all organic food decaying on the grounds without any thought about donating it to local seniors' homes or charities. The overall message to the Director and the Board: you should care more about this beautiful place.

Stunning!!!

I got there too late to get inside the palace. However, to see it outside and stroll in the park was worth the drive from Łowicz.

Thrilling

I loved the castle. History looking back at me. Enjoyed the large garden in spring. The rose gardens seemed neglected though. But all in all a nice experience.

The complex is very interesting. The palace has an absolutely unique staircase made out of Dutch tiles. The rest of the palace is also very interesting. The park is huge. It has clear sections and a small pond. The porcelain museum and the small orangerie are very cute. The Biala Dama restaurant across the street offers great food. We had great time.

Beautiful palace, beautiful grounds

A short drive from Lodz or Warsaw, the palace is stunning. The imported tiles that line the staircase and ceilings and other rooms, the tiled stoves, the artwork throughout the palace--there is something for everyone. I enjoyed the special exhibit of historical women's dresses. Take time to view the grounds.

Relaxing trip 40 min away from Warsaw. Impressive pice of Polish history. The palace and garden weren't destroyed during the war. Worth visiting

Nieborow an interesting place, just short drive from Warsaw
Sep 2016 • Friends
Short drive from Warsaw we come to Nieborow a very interesting place to visit. The Palace is the main purpose of this visit. A visitor can see nice collection of paintings, carpets, rugs and ceramics. Close to the Palace is a stable of the horses. But the garden
in the summer is the place where everyone can take some rests and watch the flying
birds and see the collections of flowers and old trees.
