came here in late October 2016 with my family and was not disappointed, loads of animals here and even some to stroke as they were out on the hay bails, a tractor ride for young and old that takes you around the area up past the giants chair and back, the ride also makes 2 stops on the return 1... There is so much to do here that it can take more than a day. We enjoyed the woodland walk and playing in the woodland play area, especially as it was towards the end of the day so we had it to ourselves! Do the tractor ride to see more animals or to save your legs.

This is a proper hidden gem. We only discovered it earlier this year and have now been twice. Its more cost effective to go in the winter, if you can stand the cold. But even in the summer its much cheaper than any similar attractions. You can get properly hands on with the animals, there are more play areas than... More

Was bought a falconry taster experience for my birthday. What an awesome experience, spent two hours filled with really interesting information about the individual birds and managed to fly the birds to hand. Rolo the eagle owl was magnificent, my thanks to Colin at Rare Breeds for making it a fantastic experience.

We visited here last month it's fantastic! A hidden gem there is so much to do and such a great experience for the whole family. The pig races are brilliant!

Visited with friends and their 2 children. Arrived at 11.00 and still and hadn't seen/done everything when we left at 4pm. Such a lovely family day out and wonderful that the children/adults can get so close to the animals and stroke/pet them. Very helpful staff including the lady who assisted me on the toilet block owing to me being in... More

I have been on a family week away in Kent and decided to come here on our last day with my husband and 2 year old daughter. We had an amazing day out. You really need all day for this place as there is so much to see and do. A large collection of farmyard animals including cows, horses, goats... More

On holiday and found this place. I love animals and love going to the zoo when I'm away. This is not a zoo but the next best thing as you can stroke the animals from cows, rabbits, ducks even piglets! There is so much to do we even went for a long walk on one of the many trails. The... More

Can thoroughly recommend Rare Breeds Centre for a great family day out! Ideal for my 2 year old, could get close to the animals, lovely walks around the woods, excellent play ground, picnic area and restaurant! The tractor rides were also a big hit! Will definitely return.
