Absolutely brilliant day at the rare breeds centre the pig racing was absolutely hilarious, all the animals were well looked after and you could tell the staff loved their jobs. The food in the restaurant was really nice. You need a full day to get round everything. Definately recommended.

If you are an animal lover than this place is for you! I brought my students (who are usually a handful) but they were so amazed and occupied that they loved it just as much as I did. The staff are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. The pig races were fantastic, by far my favourite part of the day, followed closely... More

What a fantastic day out! I attended the rare breeds centre with a group of year 6 children for a day of fun with the animals. We arrived in the morning and spent the whole day learning about and petting the animals. We stayed all day and still didn't have the chance to experience everything there was to do! Luckily... We joined some friends and thei family for a wonderful day. What a super place to visit. They had arranged a special ,falconry" experience which was an hour and a half just for our group. Colin showed us the birds and then we went to the field to fly them. What a truly fabulous experience. Our group covered all ages... More

Interesting to walk around the reptile house and the farm animals. A lot of birds, which don;t hold so much interest for everyone but overall a nice place to spend half a day.

Bought the full day Falconry Experience for my daughter. It comes with one guest included with lunch for both. I paid a standard admission to join them. Met the Falconer, Colin at 11am. Very friendly and informative, explaining the methods used to train the birds. Daughter experienced flying four birds of prey. All activities are are just your party and... More

We had a lovely day out today at the Rare Breeds Centre. The kids enjoyed themselves and there was plenty to do. The area where the rabbits and guinea pigs were out in the open for children to pet was the highlight. But we have a few annoyances. The signage for the tractor rides said that rides were at 12... The advert says you'll need more than one day to see it all, we did it all in 3 hours. It's a nice venue and it's good that the kids can interact with some of the animals but there's not really much there and you can get around the whole centre pretty quick. The indoor soft play area looked dirty... More

Thanks for taking the time to leave feedback on your visit to us, and I'm sorry to hear that you were disappointed. We have so many activities across the farm, and over 100 acres to explore, but we are aware that our directional signage needs improving, to help our visitors get the very best from their visit. We are currently... More

My three year old great grandson loves going here. Lots of farm animals to see close up. A butterfly tunnel etc. Loads of different play areas with picnic tables etc and even a indoor play room. Lovely cafe and all set in the beautiful Kent countryside!
