Very helpful staff

We had made an error with our booking today. The friendly team behind the counter were very helpful and sorted things out for us with a lot of patience. We were impressed. Looking forward our next visit!

Now Bromley Picture House

Place has been completely refurbished since our last visit, and it is lovely. Small screens (at least the one we visited), nice bar/restaurant available; reasonably priced drinks, and super comfortable seats. So much better now - we'll be back.

Expensive
Sep 2019
I took my husband to the cinema on Sunday afternoon it cost me for 2 tickets £29, I thought this was outrageous as the seats were small and the leg room was minimal. Nothing we experienced was worth this price. The member of staff that I spoke to about the £29 didn't seem to think it was expensive, and continued to explain to me that if we had gone at different times it would have been considerably cheaper... We won't be returning as the new vue cinema at Bromley south is by far a much greater experience and half the price.

Almost morgue-like
Feb 2018 • Friends
Came here with my sister on a snowing winters evening, ready to settle down in a cosy cinema to watch The Greatest Showman, only to find a note on the door to inform us that the heating was broken in the screen that just so happened to be ours. We'd come this far so we pressed on, bought some delightfully flat coke and stale popcorn and found our seats amongst the ones covered up for having been wee'd on. As good as the film was, it did not distract me from the uncomfortable seat, nor the flourescent neighour I had who deemed it appropriate to bring a fully fledged picnic in.

Bluewater it is from now on.

Broken seats and dirty
Feb 2018 • Couples
Room 3 has multiple covered up unavailable broken seats. Like 5! One would have been ok but not 5. Also floor seemed dirty. Staff polite and good ice cream options. I know this is a small cinema but still should have high standards. Grim is the one word I would use to describe this cinema.

Terrible cinema
Oct 2017 • Couples
Very dirty cinema - popcorn everywhere, the seats look like they have never been washed. Also the seats are small and uncomfortable. There were also a few odd people around.

Not great and needs some work
Jan 2018 • Family
Went here with my my wife and two kids to watch Greatest Showman. Cinema is very dated and needs an overhaul. Not much legroom, screen size small and sound not exactly the best. By comparison to other places it's overpriced and won't be going back I am afraid. To add insult to injury the heating wasn't working. Staff were fine and made the best of a bad thing.

The staff are very friendly at this cinema. However, everyone knows how uncomfortable the seats are. New cinema on the way.

A small but comfortable cinema complex

I went to see Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, which I thoroughly enjoyed, partly because the seats were comfortable.

Uncomfortable viewing
Jul 2017 • Couples
A poor experience as there is no leg room
at all, particularly in the biggest screen (screen 1).

Considering what you're paying for an adult ticket (£9.20) I think you should get a much more comfortable experience and this was certainly not that.

As someone who is 5ft9 I struggled the whole way through the film with my knees squashed up against the chair in front, with no room either side of me to even move my legs sideways. Everyone is incredibly packed in and it's more uncomfortable than a cheap budget airline seat flight!

Desperately in need of renovation especially as cineworld has now taken over it (it used to be Empire cinemas) and I think people should expect a much better experience from a cineworld considering who they are.

Very dissatisfied and won't be returning.
