Most expensive parking, we visit a lot of places like this across the country and nowhere else have we paid £9 for parking. There were 6 of us taking our mountain bikes so that was £54 for parking, we'll find somewhere else in future. I understand that the park needs looking after but that is excessive. Lake District and Peak District are half the price and better.

Not the best country park i have been to, £7.00 car parking is excessive, i can go yo the beach and park all day cheaper, did think about popping in for a coffee, but again the excessive car parking stopped me. Shame the council can't see past it commercial nose.

We met at 10 for our breakfast and were surprised that the menu was the same as the one at Hill Head Haven where we live - just different names for the items. Both venues are run by Hampshire County Council. My wife was happy that they could substitute her bacon for another poached egg. We had a wander around the park and were impressed with the number of activities on offer. The parking system is paperless and easy to use but rather pricey.

We were staying with family down in Havant & decided to take a walk with the Grandchildren to the Queen Elizabeth Country Park. The area itself was very nice plenty of areas to walk around. We had limited time there so the walk was just over an hour & it cost us £5 which I thought was a rip off. In this day & age where everyone is encouraged to keep fit & active but money is at a premium It is totally unfair to charge such an exorbitant amount to park. Please take note

The park itself is lovely. However the cafe was not. It was fairly busy( not extremely) so expected a short wait for food. We ordered Soup, a baguette, and a pre cooked pasty. My father was given a hot pasty straight away so had to eat this on his own while we waited. We waited and waited then asked how long it may be after half an hour. The unfriendly staff said there was a half hr wait on food and it would be with us in a minute. Fair enough, but might be nice to be informed of this when served. We waited an HOUR and had to ask another two times. The first lady serving was very rude to my elderly father when he enquired. Still no food so I asked what appeared to be a manager who just said it will be a couple of minutes. Another 15 mins later we had our food. We watched as some soup was taken out of the bowl before being brought out and put in someone elses...assumed running low. The baguette was nothing special and not much inside it. None of it came with a salad or even a lettice leaf . Just plonked on a plate £6.50,for a baguette is very expensive, as was the other food. You wouldn't mind so much paying a bit more if it was a friendly service, not have to wait forever to be served, served nicely with a bit of effort and all together, but not for this. we will never eat here again. Another couple asked where their food was and were spoken too equally rudely with no apology.

Business
Work for a day service in the area, took a client out to the country park for a stroll and refreshments. Took the client in and asked them on what they wanted, when pulling out the client cash to buy, the stuff said it's card only, how discriminating, there is alot of adults with disabilities and learning difficulties and they only have cash on card as they could get ripped off, so who thought of card only in this day and age how discriminating for a whole community that have as much right to use it but can't as they don't have a card how disappointing won't be going back there any more.....

Lovely country park for a walk (once you get away from the noise of the A3), but the signage for walking trails is somewhat lacking. We struggled to find our way on the trail we wanted to walk, and ended up losing it completely and walking back on the road.
We visited in January and car park charges are reduced, but still seemed a little on the steep side.

Great MTB trails plus Shipwright's & Southdowns Ways passing through. A fabulous asset for walking and offroad cycling.

Hi. Could anyone tell me if the Beechwood cafe is just a takeaway service at the moment or indoor seating? Many thanks

The seating was outdoor only a couple of weeks ago-there is an undercover section though and it is in a courtyard so a bit sheltered!

hi there! I visited this country park a few days ago, we visited at around 6pm and it was lovely and quiet, also it is an open space so it’s easy to avoid seeing people if needed. I must also recommend petersfield lake as a nice, quiet walk, it is a hidden gem in the heart of petersfield just off the motorway. I hope this helps.

The car parks don't have any height restrictions. So I would say yes shouldn't be an issue the park does have a website too so I would check that to. Hope this helps. Enjoy your visit.
Do you have to pay to visit? And if so how much is it?
