We wanted somewhere new to explore in the sun and even though this is close to us we've never been before. We walked through the woods down to Buriton (where we found a lovely pub for a quick drink!) and back again across some of the fields. Close to the visitor centre and middle of the park there were lots... More

QE country park is a great place to visit. When our children were younger, a group of us mums would go up there one day every week through summer hols, taking a picnic with us. The children loved it, playing with their friends up there, while us mums could have a chat. As a family we would often go up... More

The locals know about Butser Hill in Queen Elizabeth Country Park. It is one of the highest points in Hampshire. It's claim to fame is it featured in the hang glider scene from 'Only Fools and Horses.' The hill provides views across the Southdowns, Petersfield to the North, Winchester Hill to the West, the Solent on a clear day to... More

A great place if love the outdoors, BBQ facilities and great fun for the kids if they like exploring. My wife and children have had many fun times there and we can recommend it. The Tea room is nicely equipped to re fuel before heading home.

Very steep in places and cars driving up and down, not my favourite. Not good for those less mobile.

The Country Park is fine but I certainly would NOT recommend the Cafe - Take your own picnic instead. I twice asked for coffee but the lady poured out tea - but it was a hot afternoon and I expect she was tired. However the Victoria Sponge which I misguidedly chose to accompany my coffee was heavier than lead of... More

We stopped here to go around the advanced trail, it must have been designed by an adrenaline fueled sadist! Lots of very steep and strenuous climbs, but the downhill sections and close turnings are awesome!

I've recently started going here a lot (probably the start the spring) great place for picnics with the family. The annual parking permit is worthwhile at £40 for 2 cars vs £3.50 per day. But he best thing is the off road cycling routes. Tried blue (intermediate)... just about fit enough and would take my 8 year old on (though... More
