Great to have this place on our doorstep. Nice walks & good cafe facilities. Shop could do with a rethink re goods being sold. Dog walkers need to be policed more with regard to picking up what their dogs leave behind, & what they (the owners) leave behind (doggie bags) This is a nature reserve, not a dog latrine.

I regularly walk my dog round the park with my wife. The park is well looked after and the views and scenery are beautiful. Definitely worth the drive

Had a nice lunch in Petersfield prior to embarking on a trek up to the top of Butser Hill. Whilst the car park is relatively inexpensive, £3.50 all day, I still find it odd that at various attractions in the UK we still need to pay for parking on a Sunday! But all in all it was a pleasant experience.

Beautiful autumnal Sunny Sunday.. What could be finer than a stroll in a forest, with stunning views to match? Once in the car park, it wasn't clear where to go as there was very little meaningful signage. Started on one trail and quickly realised the climb was too steep for us. Retreated back to the car park and took another... More

Great for walking and easy (but not free)parking. Safe and very good for off road cycling and dog walking. Good cafe and toilets. Paths are very well marked with various walks graded by distance. Maps available from visitors centre.

QECP is a stunning location and a superb place to walk whether you have dogs or not. They have great barbecue pits for family day outs and at the top of the park is a child friendly play area for picnics etc. Always best to take your own food and drinks though as the cafe is expensive. They have a... More

We walk here a lot and have explored all of the routes, I also mountain bike here as well and the routes have improved over the years. The park is very hilly in places and the woodland is well looked after. Butser hill is a good walk with a small level of fitness required, but apart from the views which... More

Parking is a reasonable price and cafe/shop is not over priced. The woods are well looked after, but not over manicured and there are pathways through the woods. Cyclists and walkers are, for the most part, kept separate, and there are areas set aside for children's play, BBQ pits that can be hired as well as the history and heritage... More
