Queen Elizabeth Country Park is an excellent place to visit. No mater whether you are looking for relaxation, family fun, sport, peace & quiet, nature or extreme sports, you'll find it here. Various car parks (nominal charges apply) lead to different areas at different levels of this massive area of the Southdowns National Park. Well kept with good facilities. The... More

A lovely peaceful setting for a stroll in the late summer sunshine. A number of paths allow you to wander around and enjoy the wildlife in an unspoilt quiet setting.

The highest hill in Hampshire, butser hill is abit of a climb but you won't be let down by the magnificent views all around. The wonderful Meon Valley to the solent and the isle of Wight beyond. A great experience.

I have just been to the Queen Elizabeth Country Park which although is right on our doorstep we do not go enough. The sun was shine and the dog was have a great time running through the woodland. The cafe served a great cup of tea. There are plenty of dog bowls at the visitor centre for our exhausted dog.... More

I went there recently to do a charity walk and it was truly very beautiful. However, you definitely need to bring a map or not stray too far from the main areas otherwise you will definitely get lost! I did and it ended up putting a few extra miles on the end of the walk, so worth it though!

Just one complaint was the toilet situation. One portaloo, which was in the most disgusting state ( even for a portaloo) I... More
