Decided to walk the long route which is 8 k or 5 mile walk. It was up and downhill, through the forest and outside. Play areas and picnic areas are around. At the car park are toilets and a cafe which is very nice Would definitely try the other routes as well

I live in Petersfield and popped in to meet a friend (it's halfway between us) for coffee/cake. Having visited the new cafe in in June for fairly dent bacon butty and tea, I was disappointed thsi time with paying £9.90 for two coffees and 2 pieces of cake as both cake slices (one coffee, one ginger) both stale / vs very dry - would be very cautious about buying cake there again and if same happened again would return them to the kitchen. Suggest you change supplier or ensure the cakes are stored correctly overnight so they don't dry out, and ensure they are not kept too long. The place was quite busy so I saw no reason to be selling stale cakes. You'd be better off selling shop bought cake eg Coop or Tescos Finest coffee cake (£1,75 for 6 slices) as it is much nicer and prob cheaper than what you have bought in. I agree with others that car park charges are high especially when we are trying to encourage people to be outdoors and there are lots of car parks. PS every time I have visited for walks over last few years I end up going a differnt way each time on the purple route because the signage for walks is very bad - please can you fix? Toilets good at visitors centre, hopefully there are now some open further up.

QE park stretches for miles and so is popular with walkers and dog walkers. Tracks are easy to follow and are good underfoot, so walking is easy. Nice views and you can quickly leave the sound of the A3 behind. Peaceful and relaxing. Small visitor centre with toilets in the main car park. Parking is not cheap (£4.50 for 3 hours), but you can pay with contactless card.

I cannot leave a review because I haven’t visited , would like to but will not because of the extortionate parking charges. Apparently this is a lovely open space to visit, but being OAP’s the parking charges are just too high. If they were less then more people might visit thereby more money being made.
