This was my childhood church was baptised here lots of memory's nice quiet Catholic Church with a separate hall and car park Also holds fates and parties here as st Mary's school is at the back of it Large church would be ideal for weddings as very traditional inside

Cafe open Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays in the Bridgewater Room. Always warm and friendly. Beautiful church both inside and out. Ask to see the Ancient Door which is centuries old. This church is kept immaculately clean and there's always a warm welcome. Worth a visit.

Classic, timeless venue, such a lovely church which puts on regular coffee mornings and lunches for the local community. It's a shame that the Eccles its self is becoming so run down as it was once such a vibrant town.

A lovely church on what is a side street now but used to be a busier street leading up to the train station. The graveyard surrounding the church is small but worth a look. Eccles as a name comes from ecclesiastical (meaning church)

This church is a beautiful church which dates back to medieval times. It is beautifully maintained and has some amazing historical artifacts. Three mornings a week (tuesday, thursday and saturday), the church is open to the public and has a cafe and bathroom facilities. It is immaculately clean and the volunteers are very friendly and very helpful. Well worth a... More
