Activities include Quad Biking, Archery, Axe Throwing, Air Rifles and Crossbows. Well run with excellent equipment, enthusiastic staff and small groups so you get everything you would hope for and more. Great for families, friends and groups. We cater from age 7 upwards. Set in 300 acres of woodland a few miles from the Trafford Centre. Drinks and snacks are available at the venue.

I went here for my son's 18th, i wanted to treat him to something but it's really difficult finding an activity at that age that they'd enjoy with family but this worked really well. We all really enjoyed the air rifles, we went as a family group of 5 and we played against each other it got a little competitive but it was fun. It was the first time for most of us. I know nothing about guns but they looked new and professional. The instructors were lovely and friendly, we didn't feel rushed at all, instructions were very clear, and I definitely feel it was great value for money, also everyone was adhering to the covid-19 guidelines. It's set in lovely woodland too which all adds to the trip. The weather was forecast rain when we booked and it did pour down on and off. Luckily there is a wooden canopy over the air rifle shooting area so that was great. And even more lucky the rain had stopped in time for the quad biking session.

We contacted Adventure Now last minute to see if they could facilitate 3 of us for air rifle shooting later that day. They were very accommodating and gave a professional service. We had a fantastic time and our female guide was super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Safety is a major factor which gave us great confidence of remaining safe at all times. The games and competitions were huge fun. My partner and step son had both shot air rifles previously but I had not. However, our guide gave fantastic instructions and hints and tips which enabled me to win 3 of the 5 comps!!! Thank you Adventure Now for a fantastic experience. We will be back soon to try one of your other adventures!

We booked Axe Throwing and Rifle Shooting for 11 people for a Stag do.
Rifle shooting was great fun and involved 5 or 6 games which as great value for money for the hour we booked. Josh and another instructor (sorry I can’t remember her name) were great at teaching all the techniques and were very helpful as most of us hadn’t done shooting before.
Axe throwing was brilliant - we learned all the different techniques of throwing and played a few games to keep it competitive. instructor Mickey was a top guy and kept us laughing throughout.
Would definitely recommend to anybody wanting a fun and active day out.

Was booked in for a visit with my partner which would have been for part of a long weekend after getting married.
This was cancelled by the venue due to covid-19 and because of us living 2 and a half hours away from manchester we requested a refund as we wouldn't be able to make use of the voucher on offer.
Staff were very unhelpful and said we would loose the voucher opportunity if we were to query this any further. This has resulted in us having to take the voucher and loose our money.

I believe this review is somewhat unfair. Sam had his wedding postponed and agreed to accept a voucher that will be valid for a year to enable him to reschedule his activities with us. We agreed to extend it if the wedding was further delayed. The booking is for two people so can be used as part of a wedding weekend or at any time that we are open. We have gone well beyond our industry standard terms and conditions and issued a full value, fully flexible voucher valid for a year. I am dismayed that Sam accepted the voucher then gave us a bad review.
This is a difficult time for all small businesses. We have no income but lots of costs to cover. We are unable to provide refunds.

We visited quadbiking with a total of 6 of us.
It was really enjoyable, the staff were absolutely lovely, even when many of us (not me of course) couldn’t get past a certain point.
An overall excellent experience which was facilitated by such friendly staff!
One thing I would suggest that would further improve the quadbiking experience is to perhaps have a long stretch of flat area where someone can reach a higher speed to further improve the experience!

Thank you for the review. We do try our best to deliver a great customer experience, which is generally pretty easy for us as we love what we do and attract nice customers.
Whilst it would be nice to have a 'fast' section, it is not easy to achieve when we operate in a woodland setting. Our aim is to make the course challenging, fun and a bit quirky. There are lots of quad biking places which operate in open fields, but we try to offer something a bit different and hopefully more interesting.

Highly recommend Adventure now. All staff were super friendly especially Mikey who helped us with our rifles - funny and informative and Josh who demonstrated axe and angel throwing then encouraged our efforts !! We were celebrating our sons 18th birthday and had a great time. We completed the ‘Catchphrase Quest’ and made the leader board !!!! The Best Clarke’s 😂 Definitely will visit again - great , thanks 😊

What a fantastic birthday I had vickie was so lovely and helpful with shooting and archery making us laugh and having banter with us. Mark was brilliant on axe throwing very knowledgeable and helpful with techniques. Rachel and dan were very fun and helpful with the quad biking both safety training and out on the tracks during our quad adventure. Thank you all it was a brilliant way to spend my birthday and we will be back.

As someone who has never been quad biking before I was a touch nervous, but both the instructor and the manager put us at ease and were friendly and informative. The experience itself was fun - if a little challenging for a beginner, and worth the expense. But I have two reasons for knocking off a star. Firstly we were constantly attacked by flies (that apparently love dark clothing), and secondly the manager was a little bit shirty with us for an error that occurred due to the booking site, which wasn't our fault. Basically the quad nation site told us to arrive at '12 or 1pm', so we turned up at 12, which apparently caused the staff some difficulties. We would have come at 1 if the website had stated such. But it was a little irritating to be made to feel bad for something that we didn't do deliberately. I did enjoy the experience overall and it was worth it.

Thank you for the good review. I am pleased that you enjoyed the quad biking and that the staff put you at ease when you arrived. All seemed to be going well, we signed you in, ticked you off the list of expected customers and got you kitted up and onto the quads.
Unfortunately, you had arrived over an hour early and been mistaken for the customers from the 12 O’clock session, who had, by coincidence arrived late. We did not realise until they arrived.
We rectified the situation by halting the session whilst the late arrivals got kitted up and ready to go. As a result, you got 45 minutes on the quads vs the 30 minutes you had booked. We agree it was a bit chaotic as it took us a few minutes to figure out what had happened to cause the confusion.
As you say, you booked through Quad Nation. They ask you to select a 2 hour window e.g. 12 or 1 O’clock when you ask about availability, but the booking confirmation gives you an exact time, in your case 1pm. You arrived an hour earlier than expected.
It is always better to book direct with Adventure Now, and it is cheaper if you call or email us direct.

Me and my boyfriend went to adventure now as per of his birthday present to do a quad combo with air rifle shooting and it was the best day out we’ve had all year. Everyone was so friendly, the activities themselves where amazing and great value for money. The rifles where our personal favourite such a good mix of skill and speed based competitions and our instructor Micky couldn’t off been better. 10/10 would recommend and we will 100% be back.

Archery and Quad biking. Both great fun, special shout out to Annie who gave brilliant instruction during the archery.
Quad bike route is entirely off road through rugged terrain in woods so quite technical and very different from just blasting around an open field.
As it happens that would be the only way to make this even better - a small section where you can 'let rip' a little on the Quad bike.
