In summary, Indigo Adventures is a client-oriented adventure guide service that is safe, flexible, knowlegeable, sustainable, and very experienced. I'd hire them again in a heartbeat.
A couple friends and I hired Indigo Adventures to take us on a 7 day spearfishing trip in Baja in June 2018. I won't hesitate to choose Indigo and Collin again. Collin is very knowledgeable in the fishing scene all around Baja and is able to be flexible with when and where diving occurs to make sure his clients have the best experience possible.
During our stay, Hurricane/Tropical Storm Bud hit and the place where Collin originally had planned for us fell right in the middle of that storm. Indigo Adventures was able to take the boat out of the water and move it to a totally different part of Baja so that we could get as many spearo days as possible.
Collins knowledge of the many reefs and pinnacles was amazing as was his ability to interact with local pangaros and get information about what was being caught and where. Indigo Adventures has a very good relationship with the local communities and fishermen. He’s conscious about the locals’ needs and pays his pangaros well so that they want to keep working for him and do their best.
Spearing and freediving with Colin was also great. He is a great diver, often dropping to 100 feet plus to just see if fish were down there or report on the conditions of the reef. He was able to give us tips and tricks for spearing the different species of fish and put us in positions to target either reef fish or blue water species depending on the current conditions.
The boat Indigo Adventures uses is very well equipped and very capable is a variety of conditions. Its 26 feet long and had all the modern electronics and safety gear. He had a new 4-stroke outboard engine was well taken care of and pushed us through any chop with ease. With this boat, he can run 30+ miles and launch at most ramps. His boat captain (pangaro) drove the boat well and was very safe and attentive when we were diving.
The manner in which Indigo Adventures dealt with local ‘politics’ and land-based safety was great. We did have run-ins with local policia who were expecting some kind of payment. Collins was able to talk fluently and respectfully with them to get out of the situation without a hitch, except for the short roadside delay. Collin also has a history of personal protection and at no point during the trip did I feel unsafe.

My boyfriend and I went for a half day fishing adventure with Riggo. He was very knowledgeable about the area and helped us land about 11 fish. Apparently it was a slow day and other boats weren't getting anything so we were pleased with our results. Would definitely recommend Riggo and Indigo Adventures for anyone looking for a great day on the water.

My boyfriend and some friends and family and I went out on the boat with Colin for a whale shark snorkeling day trip. We not only saw and swam with quite a few whale sharks but spent time on an almost empty beach nearby only accessible by boat. We had tons of fun and a Colin is a knowledgeable and friendly guide!

It is often tough to please teens and tweens but Colin's Indigo Adventures was the perfect end to our stay in the Todos Santos area of Baja. We loved exploring off the beaten path and our fishing and snorkeling excursion with Colin was wonderful. The launch and landing were so amazing that we will be talking about it for years. The kids were disappointed when it was over and that is the best way to leave any adventure....wanting more (and some fish to cook for dinner too). Don't miss the opportunity to really enjoy the beautiful coastline and a great adventure with Colin. He is an amazing guide/host with an impressive knowledge of Baja and a respect for the local fisherman and the ocean. This should be a must do on any trip to Baja!

Indigo Adventures is hands down the best Baja experience. It's worth every dollar (and then some!). Colin is an absolute expert when it comes to the Baja coast, as well as a world class free diver and spear fisherman. His coastal knowledge is infinite, and he's so stoked to help, guide and train any skill level.
We took a one day trip with Colin and Juan Carlo, which included rod and reel fishing, spearfishing, surfing, cold beer and homemade ceviche. We saw breaching whales, sea turtles and ended the day with tons of fish, including blue fin tuna and a massive pargo.
To top it all off, there's really not a better dude out there. Colin is the man, and Indigo Adventures is a must-do.

This is far and away the best experience I have ever had in Baja. My fiance and I went spearfishing with Colin and had an unbelievable experience. Colin is a pro waterman (world class free diver) and he took great care of us, putting us on to some awesome fish.
The boat (book Lucky 7 if you can) is super clean, comfy, and safe. We trolled for gamefish on the way out to the dive spot and then had an unbelievable day of diving. Colin is an awesome guide for any skill level and knows the Baja coast better than anyone. Book this trip you will not be disappointed!

There's a lot to consider when heading offshore for fishing or diving. This year we decided we weren't interested unless we had solid references from someone we trusted and that's how we found Colin! Safe, professional, hyper knowledgeable, and a talented fish guide. We had a great day, caught a lot of fish, and learned soooo much. Looking forward to going again. Thanks Colin!

If you're looking for adventure, Indigo Adventures is the way to go. They offer a variety of different tours that fit exactly what you are looking for. I found the staff incredibly knowledgable and accommodating. I've gone on a variety of excursions with Indigo Adventures including: camping, diving, spearfishing, snorkeling, dirt biking, and kayaking. The guide takes you to his favorite areas of Baja and as you go along on an adventure he shares different stories, knowledge and even recipes with you. I look forward to the next adventure! Very fun trip with Colin. He was responsive to calling and texting the night before our adventure and set us up with a great Captain Beto who took us into the sea of cortez and we caught 20 fish including a massive Dorado! Highly recommend will be fishing with them for all future adventures in baja

We went with a very knowledgeable and friendly guide to fish and spearfish. He knew the water very well, knew the fish and even loaned us gear when lost a fin! :)... He took us to catch bait, then troll by some good spots and finally ended up freediving along a beautiful reef. great fun for the whole family!

Can you dock and pick us up in this area? We don’t have transportation to El Pescadero

You need to call or email Indigo Adventures directly. The questions you ask via TripAdvisor go to past clients such as me. Often Collin is off on adventures with other clients and may respond in a couple days time. Collin can sometimes trailer his boat to Cabo and you can board there. His home operations are in Pescasero, but he's quite mobile.
