I’ve been to Art&Beer on six or more occasions. Always felt welcomed by Alfredo and his wife. Reading these negative reviews concerns me. This is a one of a kind experience. If you enjoy Art and keep an open mind you will enjoy yourself. Alfredo is a talented artist and would only be rude to rude visitors. If you enjoy fancy restaurants go elsewhere, they are a dimes dozen in Cabo. “Art & Beer” is a gem on the Pacific.

We enjoyed our visit, we were stopping for a drink and to see this quirky art with its installations in amongst the cacti. We enjoyed the raised boardwalk above the cacti. The drinks were large, the staff friendly and it had a bohemian non touristy feel which was nice. Our son was allowed to do some filming with his 3D camera which was generous of the owners. Yes there is a minimum spend but it's very small and to be honest it is such a quirky friendly place it really shouldn't be an issue.

Okay Everybody! I returned after a 15+ year hiatus and was overjoyed at our experience today! I can’t believe it took me so long to return. This is a definite must! Yes you must order before entering but the drinks are artfully made and humongous! Well worth the $10!! The experience as you walk through the grounds is so unique. Alfredo plays beautiful music every weekend and does several sets, starting around noon. We were presented with a cerviche appetizer that was the best on the peninsula. DO NOT drive by without stopping!!

We have been to Art & Beer many times over the years. Come in with a smile and listen to what he says and you will have a great experience. The drinks are extra large; many come with enough fruit in them to make a meal ! Over the years he has been taken advantage of by people, so he will ask for your order first. Believe me, you will get way more than your money's worth...

Horrible experience!!! Came with the best vibe hoping to enjoy with family and children and was received with the worst attitude by the person managing the spot. He would not let me in because I had a bottle of water and when I mentioned I would still consume but did not want to throw the water bottle away he said he would charge me for bringing it in, then just decided he would not serve us and asked us in the worst possible way to leave and not come back. Completely disappointed , horrible experience.

The last time we drove to Todos Santos, Art and Beer was closed so we were excited to check it out. The owner greeted us at the door and his wife was our friendly and efficient bar tender. It was the middle of the day and steamy hot but the temperature dropped 10 degrees in the deep shade of the circular bar. I bought one of their super cool tank tops, enjoyed a delicious and refreshing blackberry maquarita, my husband enjoyed beer and we munched on chips with hot sauce and fresh oysters.
The outdoor art is cool as is the wooden cat walk provides the means of snaking your way through the cacti to check out the desert view.
Don't miss the small gift shop/gallery off the bar.
A must do if you are on your way to Pescador and or Todos Santos.

We stumbled upon Art and Beer when we were staying across the road. We were hesitant as it was late at night and our son was asleep but we really didn't know our options. It was dark and our first visit to the area. We were pleasantly surprised. We met some lovely people and had some amazing food and drinks. It was our most expensive meal of our trip but well worth it. My husband and I had wonderful fresh drinks and the food was amazing. Yes it is higher priced but we were served so much food and it was so wonderful that we were happy. Luckily they also took dollars since we didn't have more than 100 pesos on hand at the moment.

You know it won't be good when the sign says there is a $60peso per person minimum consumption (kids included and cash only) before you even get in the front door. We thought ok at least we can have a couple of beers and maybe a snack. We were greeted by rude staff who walked us to the bar showed us the WAY OVER PRICED menu and then exclaimed that we had to order first before we could even be seated. All the drinks start at $60 pesos and go up to over $250 pesos, these are even higher than some of the top restaurants and hotels in Los Cabos. Food was the same $200 peso for guacamole, $300 for tostadas and they kept going up.

The only thing keeping this from being a terrible review is at least it saved face with some decent pieces of art, that is it. Definitely not going to go back, even if I am invited and don't recommend this place at all.

ART and BEER is located at km 69 between Cabo and Todos Santos. We are looking forward to returning there soon on our annual trip to that area. I agree with all of the favorable reviews , and all that was said is true. In addition, the music selections there are outstanding, and the system is always playing. If not, sometimes the owners play on the unique circular stage out amoungst the cacti and bushes. In addition, if you buy a t- shirt, and wear it upon your return visit, the first beer is free. If you really hit it off good, you will also get one for the road. The art is good, and both owners ( Alfredo and Lourdes) have a thing about orbs, reflected in the art, and most of the unique buildings that they have designed and hand built over the years. They are always building something new.
The $ minimum, in this case, is a good thing, as everyone can really relax and enjoy the unique atmosphere, and serenity.

We've driven by this place at least 100 times and finally decided to stop and check it out. Now we already have plans to go back again. Cool art, good food, all natural drinks and interesting people. We will be back!
