Nice getaway from Saint Martin

Nice day out from Saint Martin, sailing around Pinel, drinking a glass of good wine and enjoying the wonderful sunset.

We decided to take the ferry over to this little island and so gland we did! Best Snorkeling, in my opinion. It has a large reef and the men who help get you suited up were great in informing you what to expect. I t was a beautiful swim. There are two restaurants and two parts to relax while still... More

This is a great island that usually the locals only Know about. Park your craft outshone. It is a little more populated than you think. it was a great relief after our Turtle snorkeling trip.

Great beach . The gift shop on the beach was unique and well stocked with local crafts for all . Our grandchildren loved the iguana petting area . They also liked the beach because the waves were small .

Lovely little island, so many birds and iguanas. Nice drinks, but restaurant Kariburi took really long to bring us lunch - the meals were over-cooked and our poor lobster got rubbery. Please note the toilet facilities are Horrible! So note there isn't much access to toilets and change rooms. Lovely water to swim in and during the mornings before lunch... More

This was one place you should not miss if you go to St Marteen. What a beautiful beach and the snorkel team was awesome.

We rented kayaks and it was a fun and easy paddle over to Pinel Island. It takes about 15 minutes to get there. You can stop by the smaller island on the way, and do some snorkeling. Not the best snorkeling we've ever done, so don't expect much. Once at Pinel, you can rent chairs and umbrellas and sit back... More

For those going to St Maarten by cruise ship, you will need to take a shuttle/cab over to the Marigot side (St Martin) to catch a ferry over to Pinel. Great little island off the coast. Worth making the trip over to enjoy a nice beach day.

The beach and water were great. Had a wonderful time. Overall, I would recommend. Be aware that there is a chair charge and the food and drink is expensive.

We stayed across the bay in Cul de Sac. Took kayaks over on a couple days. Great beach area....there are two restaurants/bars along beach. We went to Karubundi...liked it. Really enjoyed hiking around island on hiking trails. Great secluded beach on other side. There is also a snorkeling park on island which was fun to do. Highly recommend you spend... More
