We have visited Pinel almost 6 years ago. The restaurant is great (yellow side), I forget the name! Good service, drinks right to your chair. Beach chairs are at a premium price at $50 euro for four of us. Always fun there but adds up as a day trip to keep in mind. Now where there is the roped off... More

Be sure to visit this unique part of St. Maarten when visiting. A group of us rented kayaks and paddle boards from Caribbean Paddling in Cul de Sac (Embarcadère de Pinel) to enjoy this paradise. Reserve your bookings via the website (very reliable) and make your way to the French side to begin your adventure. However you choose to arrive... More

Pinel is just off "Cul de Sac" on the French side of Saint Maarten.A short boat ride ($5.00 round trip) takes you there, where chaise lounges, two great restaurants and clean bathrooms await you. WONDERFUL for children, where you can wade out on water only 2 feet deep!! (and very calm). Don't miss this trip!!!!

We took a cab from the cruise dock, rented standup paddle boards and paddled over the shallow, turtle and coche filled waters to a pristine beach with bar tables in the water and a hut style restaurant with fresh fish and lobster. This is where I go in my dreams at night....

Me and my traveling companions spent the day at the Karibuni restaurant on Pinel. We relaxed on beach chairs, swam, ate, and drank. It was a very relaxing day in a beautiful place.

Came here on the Swaliga 2 Snorkel tour - I wish we would have had more time to do the entire island walk. Great Lunch at the Karibuni Restaurant - excellent - get the Mahi Mahi.

Rented a tandem kayak, paddled across to the busy restaurant area, then hiked to the quieter beach on the far side.

Pinel Island is about a 10 minute ferry ride from the dock in Cul de Sac in St Martin. During high season the first ferry runs from 9:30am. The main beach is usually fairly busy, and we were looking for a quieter experience. We took a short hike around the island and found a great little beach to relax at... More

Beautiful beach, apparently must try guava berry colada. You can get up close & personal with small iguanas

This was the first time we've been to Pinel and it was so quaint and beautiful! The food at the little restaurant is awesome and first class!
