Amazing day trip! Worth every penny!

Small wooden boats leave the dock every half hour I believe starting at around 8:30 am until 4 pm. $12 PP - 10 minute ride to Pinel - you rent chairs on beach and have lunch!

The beach is very sandy as is the water, it is very clear and shallow. Most interesting part was seeing the iguanas, you can see them anywhere. It is super relaxing and beautiful.

My wife and I took taxi from our hotel to French cul de sac where we caught a water taxi to Pinel island. The water taxi is $12 round trip per person, which is about normal for other water taxis on the island. Once there we ate lunch at the French bar and restaurant. The food was amazing but be... More

We came for a visit on a cruise day and rented kayaks to get there. We were one of the first to arrive and the beach was deserted. We parked our kayaks right in the sand along the beach and enjoyed sitting in the water most of the day. The sand is soft and fluffy and the beach is fairly... More

Been here many times. Nice little getaway with decent food and a quite laid back beach. If you are up to it and the wind is good swim over to the little island off the beach for great snorkeling. Well worth the effort, but don't go alone or without telling someone. Current can be a little strong.

e took a ferry, which was about 15 minutes from St. Maarten, for $12 pp. Chairs and umbrella were very reasonable. My husband hiked around the whole island and took beautiful pictures. Saw many Iguana's, fed the some lettuce which they love. Spent the whole day and caught the last ferry at 4:00 back to the mainland

This little island in Saint Martin is an easy to access place for a day trip. There are chairs and umbrellas to rent from 2 different restaurants at the island. My family and I have chosen a very nice restaurant at the Yellow beach, that has quality food served for you with your feet on the sand, with your feet... More

This was a great visit. We took the ferry over which is managed by local people. We did some snorkeling and enjoyed a peaceful beach where we enjoyed some tasty french food served up to us on the beach by Steve. Don't miss out on this beautiful Oasis!

It cost $12 round trip by water taxi. Probably could walk through water it is so close. Has outdoor gift shop, restaurant, in-the-water drinking tables, and swimming area. Has coral reef spot and on other side of island occasional turtles. Nice spot to spend a day with friends. Can anchor boat if have one. Little wave action beach side. Off... More
