We go to visit Friars Bay Beach Cafe. The crowds are not bad and the water is terrific. Go for the food, stay for the beach!

This one is a bit crowded, but the setting and sand are amazing. The waves are perfect for kids, and it's easy to get to.

Friars Bay was our first stop on our self guided island beach tour. It was picture perfect with white sand, and calm blue water. It was empty and after a swim and a drink at Roots, we had to tear ourselves away to get to the next beach. We will come back and enjoy a full day here next time.

great beach, quit and easy going, relaxing place to sit, read , and swim, great restaurant on the beach is a big plus and parking within 20 feet of beach makes it very easy to get on the beach without long walks, busier on weekends as it is usually family days, lot of local people but still better than big... On the French side between Marigot and Grand Case. Look for the sign on the left, heading north, for Friar's Bay and follow the black top. Watch out for cows walking the road side. There are longers and umbrellas for rent-$18 for 2 chairs and one umbrella. We asked to rent a second umbrella later in the day and "Dupree"... More

Very nice little beach, we actually liked it better then most, it's off the beaten path but like everywhere we traveled, we asked along the the way and like their licence plates say "the friendly island " people pointed us in the right directions. There are 2 restruants on the beach and plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas to rent.... More

Lovely little cove with a beautiful view of Anguilla. Never very crowded mid-week - probably because it's down a long road off the beaten path. Like every "local" beach in St. Martin, it can get a little loud on the weekends when locals play their music (often with huge speakers) incredibly loud.

This is a very nice beach. Very relaxing and a great restaurant is a bonus. Great bar, the drinks are very reasonable and they don't hold back on the pour. Bring a towel or rent a chair. You won't be disappointed.
