I have been going to St. Maarten/Martin since the mid 80s and have had the opportunity to see and use all the beaches on both the Dutch and French side. This beach is on the French side of the island between Marigot and Grande Case....More

This is a great beach for all ages. Nice swimming, chairs for rental, lunch served chair side. Or eat at the beach bar. Good for relaxing and not too crowded.

We go to visit Friars Bay Beach Cafe. The crowds are not bad and the water is terrific. Go for the food, stay for the beach!

This one is a bit crowded, but the setting and sand are amazing. The waves are perfect for kids, and it's easy to get to.

Friars Bay was our first stop on our self guided island beach tour. It was picture perfect with white sand, and calm blue water. It was empty and after a swim and a drink at Roots, we had to tear ourselves away to get to...More
