Hit up the highlights of St Marin in just one day with this speedboat tour. You'll visit Tintamarre Island, Pinel Island, and Creole Rock, where you'll have plenty of time to swim, snorkel, sunbathe, and indulge in complimentary drinks. Your tour wraps up with a visit to the beach by the airport, where you'll get to watch planes depart and land right over your head.

My wife and I went there right when they opened one morning, and had a fantastic time. The birds come right to you, and were very nice. The staff were wonderful. The female (I believe her name was Tanisha) gave a tour of the place, and described the different types of birds. The male gave us tips on how to take the best photos and videos of the birds. The location was very clean, and we did not see any bird poop around. After seeing the birds, Tanisha gave us a tour of the room next door with items from throughout Sint Maarten's history, many from her own family. The morning we spend at Parotte Ville was out favorite part of the entire trip!

The tour I booked was Island Beauty and Nature. Offered by Twin Islands Excursions. Short drive from Port and Guide brought us here. The Sanctuary is a delightful stop. Birds are allowed to fly free and roost in a variety of trees and perches. They look to be healthy and well cared for. Visitors can feed birds and have interactions with feathered residents. Not sure how many of the parrots are endemic to St. Maarten. Saw Zebra Finches, and parrots from Africa. Also a golden pheasant, a pair of Doves, and a lizard trying to blend in.

A one hour visit, maybe 90 minutes, but one of the best moments you'll spend on the island - we LOVED it! The parrots are hilarious - some are friendly, some are naughty, some are shy - you make friends quickly and learn how to tell the naughty ones to behave - the range of personalities is like being at Paddy's market at Christmas. Absolutely do not miss this. If we live through the virus, of course....

Fun, informative. Outside enclosure. Totally enjoyed the bird interaction. Do, as others have recommended, take the cup of birdseed offered as part of your entry and "relax" feeding the colourful, very friendly, avians.
