We spent the best morning feeding and photographing the birds. My husband had about 10 birds on him at one point, they were so curious about his beard! I highly recommend visiting this treasure. You can tell the love the people have for their birds!

It was a windy, rainy day so we were looking for something else to do when I came across Parroteville on TripAdvisor. We drove the 20 minutes from Little Bay and were extremely glad we did. We spent two hours feeding the borders and learning...More

Had a lot of fun with the parrots. Only a few are okay to hold, or human contact. But they fly, land everywhere. The guides tell you about the different types of parrots. Cost $15 a piece I believe.

As a bird owner I can assure you that it's one of the first bird sanctuaries that I have visited while traveling abroad that has birds that are actually healthy and cared for. The owner and workers put a lot of time into making this...More

Sorry, I don't know. My guess would be no. It was basically a cage that contained birds and vegetation. They would have had to rescue the birds and completely rebuild.
