Hi. When we arrived here the beach cleaner was working to collect all the seaweed that had washed ashore during the night. Each day since it has been the same story. Seaweed. It seems to only be on the east side of the island because...More

Unfortunately the week that we stayed on Dawn Beach it was covered in seaweed. We had rented a condo right on the beach but we couldn't swim in the water and the strong sulfur type smell also made it unpleasant to even sit outside for...More

A short walk from the Oyster Pond marina on the other side or from other hotels, this beach is both very accessible and enjoyable. Has not only restaurants, grocery store, but also offers the possibility of booking trips through the concierge of the Oyster Bay...More

Not a favorite but the beach is quiet and still a relaxing place to be. The water is not too nice, has too much seaweed and is a but more rough than most beaches.

Not one of my favorites. It is pretty quiet, but it has lot of seaweed and waters can be rougher compared to the French side beaches.

This little beach has a nice bar and restaurant but also plenty of seaweed. Maybe they didn't clean it the day we went.

We took a taxi here from our cruise ship because I had read that the snorkeling was good. The snorkeling was good, but the water was very rough. We did see nice coral and fish, and even two stingrays. But, we are very good swimmers...More

Depends on property, I recommend adaptors. We used ours and were glad we had them.
