I was impressed by the connection both Ken and Elle had with the dogs, there was mutual respect between all of them. We were allowed to meet and pet the dogs before the sled ride and then watched them get hooked up to the sled. It was a fantastic ride through open fields and wooded areas and the dogs were so happy to be out running. They were fed a hot meal of broth and meat when we returned from the ride to replenish their bodies from the work they had just done. It was a really nice day and a great way to celebrate my birthday. Many thanks, Peace Pups for sharing your dogs and love of nature with us!

with a very knowledgable guide, we cruised around some fun trails. You can ride an easy trail, or one that will keep you on your toes and wear you out!

We went Dog Sledding with Ken & the dogs last week. It was an amazing experience. Before we started we had time to meet the dogs which were very friendly and needed a lot of petting and belly rubbing. Ken told us about the sled that we would be riding in and introduced us to every one of the dogs. Once Ken got the harnesses on the dogs they were all business and ready to run. We sledded on a trail that brought us through open fields and paths through the woods up and down hills and around bends and corners etc. The trail was about 5 miles long and it took about 1 hour to complete the ride from start to finish. Ken said the trail ran on 500 acres of open fields and woods. After we completed our ride we enjoyed hot chocolate and visited with the dogs some more. The total time spent there was about 2 hours. If you're in the Stowe, VT area, and if you’ve ever thought about dog sledding get in touch with Ken and have an amazing experience dog sledding with the Peace Pups. This is a must thing to put on your BUCKET LIST. Nancy & Louie

The dog sled ride experience was great! Jeff and Elle were great hosts taking time to explain the operation of the sleds and how the dogs work together. After the ride there was time to interact with the dogs, they are very friendly and love attention. Awesome end to our weekend getaway!

We went dogsledding with Peace Pups today. Husband and I are from Florida and came to Vermont to spend Valentine’s week playing in the snow. We booked the dogsledding months ago and I was really looking forward to it. Ken was very responsive to any questions we had prior to our trip. We arrived on time and got to spend a little while meeting the dogs. They are amazing! They are great with people and we were serenaded by their howls while everything was getting set up. Of course, I fell in love with one of them in particular. Koda has the most loving and silly personality. He wants all the attention for himself! But they are all so beautiful. You can tell right away that these dogs are very well loved and cared for. These are a part of Ken’s family and it shows. We got situated into our sled and zipped in and then they got the dogs ready and we were off! It was such a smoothe and comfortable ride. And the scenery was INCREDIBLE! We started off in a big open field then headed into the woods. It was so peaceful! The ride lasted about an hour and we were there for around 2 hours. Afterwards we gave them some treats that we had brought with us. We also spent a little time in the tent that was set up for us to warm up by the fire and have some hot chocolate. I could’ve stayed all day. This is probably the best adventure I have ever had in all my 50 years! And that is saying A LOT! My husband and I had the most incredible time and I just want to go back and do it again and again. This is something I will remember for the rest of my life and will be talking about it for years to come! I can’t thank Ken and his team enough for this experience! If you’ve ever thought abought dogsledding, get in touch with Ken and GO! You won’t regret it! And if you see Koda - give him some extra attention from me! 🐾❤️

Thank you so much for the wonderful review and I'm glad you had a great experience with us. If you're ever back in the non-snow months remember to look us up for a guided hike, bike, or brew tour. Summer and fall are pretty nice times to be in Vermont too!
