In the last year, we have visited 14 different bodegas in the Mendoza region, and I believe Pulenta is our favorite. The view from the facility is amazing. We were there on a clear day with a classic Porsche sitting in front of the grapes at harvest time with the stunning Andes mountains in the background. Connie was our hostess, and she is spectacular. We are so grateful that she found a way to squeeze us in for a tour during the busy Easter week. Pulenta Estate is very popular so try to make your reservation well in advance. On a previous trip last year, we tried to visit Pulenta but were unable to get in. This year again, they were very busy, but Connie knew we had been trying hard to visit and found a way to squeeze us in. Then she was gracious enough to be our guide for the visit. She gave us a tour of the facility and described the production processes as well as highlighting the family links with racing cars such as Porsche and Ferrari. Our visit ended with an enjoyable tasting of several of their premium wines, including their award-winning Cabernet Franc! The wines, facility, scenery, and hospitality at Pulenta were all spectacular. If you can get a reservation, I highly recommend at visit to Pulenta, and if you’re lucky you will get Connie as your hostess.

Before the visit begins the hundreds of hectares of vineyards with the Andes at the bottom are already overwhelming. During the visit Victoria was very attentive speaking a very fluent portuñol since our group was all made up of Brazilians. During the whole visit was concerned about us and whether we were understanding the explanations. A differential of the visit was to see the winemaker in operation: there were employees washing the tanks, rollers working, different from what happened in the other winemakers. Watching live the engines of the Cayenne turbo and the F1 car driven by Schumacher is an extra special. Finally, the wines are simply delicious, the best we tried during our visit to Mendoza. Cabernet Franc, which is not my favorite grape is very good, as well as Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec. We love the visit and the prices on site are a little more in charge than in the city's shops. We love it.

Together with 3 other friends I made a 6 day trip to Mendoza. We visited the Pulenta winery where we were very well received by Maria who demonstrated a lot of knowledge by presenting the history of the winery, the process of making the wines, characteristics of each. Wonderful experience.

The guide Rafael is exceptional! Excellent explanation about the wines, speaks Portuguese for those who have difficulty understanding Spanish. Delicious wines mainly the Carbenet Sauvignon and Carbenet Frank. Also, for Porsche lovers as they are representatives in Argentina you can see the engine of some cars.

An amazing experience! Excellent wines, the structure of the building and impeccable caves, in addition to beautiful. And the explanation of the victory was great. The winemaking is young but the tradition in the world of wine is great. Super recommend!

A winemaker a little smaller, but with a beautiful look with grape groves and mountain range at the bottom, beautiful gardens and a simple but very beautiful architecture. The service was excellent and the visit to the vineyard very practical, without much detail that Ace can sometimes be a little tired and repetitive, but addressing very interesting points. Finally the tasting is note 10, no doubt in the quality of wines a differentiated winemaker. I recommend!

I recommend this experience to anyone who wants to go beyond drinking wine and learn to appreciate it in a comprehensive way. You do not need to be an expert; the only essential thing is to be curious and want to enjoy. Without a doubt, a journey that not only delights the palate, but also the soul. The tasting itself was a multisensory experience. We tasted six different wines. Each glass was accompanied by detailed explanations about the aromatic notes. I was surprised by the intensity of the different aromas. To experience again, thank you Pia and Viky!!!

Our visit was booked in advance, Victoria welcomed us to tell us about the history of the winery and production of grapes and wines. Our expectations were greatly exceeded and we loved it, not only its wines, which most of us knew, but its infrastructure and warmth with visitors. Super recommended to spend a morning tasting.

We were at Pulenta 10 years ago and returned to celebrate 20 years of togetherness. We were not disappointed. The structure, quality, attention and especially the availability and kindness of our guide Rafael makes every visit unforgettable.

Dear Pulenta state team, I would like to thank you very much for welcoming us even though we were not available for the tasting on 11/13/2023. We made our purchases of our beloved wines and were very well received by Maria Pia, who demonstrated a lot of passion and knowledge about the history of this winery and the wines. Thank you very much! We will return on a new date and continue enjoying Pulenta wines!

We were welcomed by Rafael, very friendly, he took us to the barrel and barrel room (there was no tour of the vineyards). Rafael told us about the origins of the Pulenta family (all Italian), we saw Ferrari engines (a family hobby) and we ended with a very educational tasting about colors, aromas and opening the wines. Even the detail of leaving a finger of wine in each glass was very important, as the wines change with the minutes and then we can go back to them and taste the rest of the glasses.

The winery is charming, both for the architecture of the facilities and the view of the Andes Mountains. The visit was spectacular, our host was Maria who gave a show in her explanations and enthusiasm as she led the tour and tasting. I've been to Mendoza at other times, but this trip really stood out. I recommend.

As international travellers we were unaware that you could not just turn up at wineries for a tasting, you needed to make a reservation. Seems this has something to do with the COVID pandemic and has not changed.
A lovely staff member Maria looked after us exceptionally well. Maria ensured we were able to still taste the great wines and made us feel extremely welcome.
Fabulous wine and exceptional customer service.
Thank you Maria, you are a credit to this winery.

Single-storey buildings (with spacious basements) made of stone and concrete are perfectly harmonious with the breathtaking landscape.

A scenery of countless grapevines that seems to end at the bottom of the Andes Mountains far in the horizon.

Located just 50km from Mendoza City, Pulenta is a mandatory stop not only for wine lovers but for tourists in general.

We loved the wines and guided tour that detailed the production processes as well as family links with race cars such as Porsche and Ferrari. Our visit ended with a nice tasting of some of their great wines.

From the 14 wineries that we visited during this trip, Pulenta was my favorite.

Later at the store, after buying a couple of bottles, the lady at the counter kindly offered one extra bottle wrapped in a beautiful tissue paper as courtesy. Back home, I was so glad to find out that it was a Pulenta Gran Corte VII Porsche Limited Edition.

Thank you!!

Possibly my favorite winery of my whole trip. The winery is smaller, but that only provides for an intimate tour through a unique winery. And the wines themselves are stunning! I still wish I could have bought several cases (but the shipping cost to the U.S. was too high). Definitely recommend.

We went in two couples and was introduced the processes of making the wines , the barrels that are ripe.

Finally, at the bottom of the cellar we were shown smell tests to try to discover the smells of aromas.

We placed 04 glasses of wine to experiment with the explanations about the wines.

The problem is the price, 55000 pesos per person (weight quote at 1300 pesos per dollar) is not worth the experience.

The visit itself is good, with the quality of the wines being very interesting. The only drawback was the charge for visiting my wife, who was feeling ill. I explained the situation, she didn't do a tasting, and she still had to pay a high price. They could have left that aside, if we bought wine, for example.
