Ricardo and his wife provided a superb tasting experience for my family. We learned of the family's passion for ecologically sound practices and very much appreciated the give and take nature of our conversation. If you visit Mendoza and care about the future of wine, you should pay a visit to this unique bodega.

Awesome wine, and Ricardo is an amazing host. Lunch was excellent. Add this as a place to definitely check out in Mendoza. Best winery experience we had here.

We did the premium tasting which is lead by the wine maker/owner. It included a tour of the winery and an almost 2 hour tasting. The wine maker didn't just pour a bit of wine and let us swish it around. Instead, he explained the finer details of how to properly taste and spit, and allowed us to compare various... More

I read a lot of good reviews from this place but if your into wine for real don't waist your time going, the guy who made the tasting was nice but the wine .... They served us all wine that where dead I mean really dead not fruit left only alcohol why would they served old vintage that are dead... More

Hi, I'm particularly surprised you say you just had old dead wine to taste. Actually, a bottle could go bad as we all know, but you did no claim about this. WE ALWAYS open fresh bottles (even old and vintage) when a customer complains or is simply not convinced... And we usually taste 2 or 3 times more wines than... More

Dolium Winery was the first and by far the best winery we visited on our Bike&Wine Tour in Mendoza. The owner Ricardo greeted us on arrival. After a quick briefing, sharing his visions, believes and history of wine making, he showed us around and explained us in clear and detailed way, how wine is made. He offered us the decision... I had the pleasure of meeting Riccardo and his lovely wife at their winery. He is extremely knowledgeable about wines and winemaking. He spent a lot of time explaining about his wines and what went into each glass. It was avery enjoyable visit and I would recommend all to visit.

As people who have visited many wineries in France, Italy, and the US, we are well acquainted with the "standard" (reserved) wine tastings. However, our visit to Dolium proved to be a significant departure from the usual. Ricardo was an extremely knowledgeable and conscientious wine producer who shared his vision and commitment to producing eco-friendly excellent wines. Second and significantly,... More

We not only learned about how the wine was eco friendly, but we learned how to truly taste the wine and find the differences between the years. It was a fantastic experience that I got to leave with more knowledge of how to wine tasting. If you are new to trying wine, you have to visit here first! And they... More

Our travel company set us up with a private wine tasting with the owner. He first gave us a valuable introduction to the art of wine tasting. Although we've been to other wineries, we found it very informative. He encouraged us to really think about the characteristics of each wine, as we sampled them. We also enjoyed the tour and... If you have spend time at the bigger wineries, please stop at this family owned, boutique winery. We were greeted by the daughter of the owner, she took us on a tour and she showed us the entire process. Very informative, especially because it's small scale so you get to ask her alot of questions without being rushed. Afterwards we... More
